It wasn’t the hotels fault as the beach had suffered extreme storm damage during low season so there was a lot of washed up rubbish nearby. They were very good though & cleaned the area outside the hotel regularly.

Beautifully designed with gorgeous attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable & felt luxury. The weather wasn’t great while we were visiting so having a wonderful restaurant & good vibes was very welcome during those rainy days. will definitely be back x

Lovely little resort with amazing staff who were always so pleasant and happy to help. Well located as a base to explore the island. Fantastic breakfast and a great kitchen for lunch and dinner. The pool has just been finished too, which is a great addition! No hesitation in recommending!!

You cannot really swim as many rocks in the water in front of the lodge. Visible at low tide. When we were there (May) tvere had been sole bad weather so the beach was a mess (lots of rubbish washed up). Did not go to the beach in ffo g of lodge. Pool is very nicely done but a bit small perhaps. Next door was as beach bar with extremely noisy “music” until 01:30 AM! Earplugs provided by lodge but luckily we had our own (better ones). We had it 2 nights out of the 4 we were there. “Party” nights at the mushroom bar. Lodge not at fault for both beach & bar but still good to know in advance if you plan to go here.

Beach area has only 5 umbrellas, always occupied with the towels from people not even using them. Other resorts manage that with signs and remove towels from unused spaces. Maybe a bit pricey but service and room are impeccable. Staff extra helpful and really doing their best.

Room was spacious, confy, well decorated with a nice bathroom, and balcony. A real coffee machine in the room, great bed, netflix. Resort is well maintained, lovely space.

We didn’t mind but some guests may not like the full moon parties further down the beach music played loud late into the night but the hotel do provide ear plugs if a full moon party lands on the night of your stay.

Such a hidden gem, we loved our cute Bure how easily accessible everything was. The breakfast was so yummy and the staff made you feel at home. We are from New Zealand and this reminded us of home. We hired scooters from the property did laundry breakfast everyday and drinks at night.

The setting is lovely, right on the beach. Rooms (beach hut style) were very comfortable, and access to Netflix was nice touch. Breakfast offered a nice variety, food was lovely.

Great feel , food amazing (and cocktails ) location is perfect if your hiring a bike , which the hotel arrange for a great price beach front with bars either side if you fancy a change although prices for drinks and food at the hotel are nearly as cheap as eating the street food , overall can’t say a bad word great staff great location great vibe 10/10 from us would definitely go back

Nothing. The pool is under construction, so we couldn't use it but didn't bother us at all. We love the sea.

The Lazy Lodge, as the name says, is a place to relax and be lazy in front of the beach. The bungalows are very beautiful, every detail is curated, very clean and spacious. Breakfast is included, and it's amazing, high-quality food and a more than reasonable amount. The beach is all organised with pillows and beds in front of the sea, bear in mind there are many big rocks in front of the resort however you can swim further and enjoy a nice peaceful swimming or you can walk 5 minutes and find a spot without many rocks. The food of the restaurant is also very nice, sometimes we had dinner in the resort and sometimes we tried different restaurants and bars along the beach. As mentioned in other reviews, sometimes the bars on the beach have parties, and you can hear some loud music in the bungalows, but it doesn't bother us at all. First, our bungalow was garden view, so we couldn't hear anything once the doors were closed. Second, we enjoyed the music, and third, they also provided earplugs in the room, so they were very prepared. Bungalows have air-conditioning as well. Staff is incredible, and everyone is extremely smiley and helpful. We really enjoyed every moment of our stay. The sunset from this place was spectacular. Thank you for everything, I hope to be back soon.

No big things besides the noise from the neighbors (just 1 out of 3 nights) which stopped around 02:00h. Airco was not really working well. Coffee is not that great.

The lodges are really nice and cosy, the beach is perfect for a swim and great restaurants nearby. Breakfast has great options, same for lunch.

Great location for a mix of relaxing and party We loved it here- really tastefully done, and not a resort feel which is nice for Thailand The staff were excellent and it was nice to be able to chose brekkie The beach location is spot on and lots of places to hang in the sun or shade They were building a small pool I think in the basis of previous comments and I think that will be a nice extra touch The rooms are lovely - cool, decent WiFi in each room, tasteful decor and top bonus for the team providing a reusable water bottle in a country which still seems to be over using plastics

There was no pool but literally the ocean is your garden! Amazing place. So great! I'm still dreaming of it and it is already 4 months ago ;-)

This was by far the best hotel we visited in Thailand and we traveled around from north to south. We slept in 9 different hotels, all at least 4 stars. So we have enough to compare. It was so so so beautiful, the location was perfect and the staff was incredibly friendly! Definitely going back.

I had an incredible experience at The Lazy Lodge. The staff was exceptionally friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The calm and chill ambiance set the perfect tone for a relaxing getaway. Nothing really! Maybe adding a small pool would be a nice touch, but the again you are metres from the sea.

Lovely stay at the Lazy Lodge! Staff were very smiling, welcoming and happy to help with any asks. The bungalows were a good size and in a cosy Thai style. The property is right on the beach (not really crowded at all despite it being high season and was very clean). Providing water bottles was also a good idea to avoid too many plastic bottles. A lot of people have commented about noise from neighbouring bars, but since the bungalow was at the back, I didn't find it an issue so perhaps request a room at the back just in case (they do provide earplugs). In all a peaceful stay. I also highly recommend the on site massages!

Great value for money, and would love to come back. This was one of the most favourable parts of our stay in Thailand.

There wasn't anything to not like at this resort. It's a very calm and peaceful place to live. If you are looking for a party place then, this may not be for you. You can go and relax at this serene beach.

The location, food, beach, staff hospitality, cleanliness. Everything was more than what we expected. It's a beautiful place to stay for 2-3 nights, the staff is helpful and ensures you have a beautiful stay at the resort.

Shared transfer to Krabi through the hotel was annoying as it did not take us to Ao Nang as agreed but only to Krabi town where we were asked to get out and had to arrange for transfer ourselves. Moreover driver was rude. Breakfast could be more generous and tastier. All portions are very small regardless of the option chosen. Same is true for other meals we had at the hotel (lunch or dinner) but to be fair we found this to be generally the case in Phuket/Krabi. Room’s doors/windows were not completely closing and door had an annoying system to open. However, the mosquito net around the bed partly compensated for that.

Perfect beachfront location. Clean and nice room. Comfortable bed. Excellent cleaning service. Affordable, nice smell and well folded. Good food. Helpful and responsive staff, including with organising transfers with the caveat below.
