The beds were amazing. The staff were very friendly. It was a very hot day so we decided to stay in the pool and the staff kindly brought out watermelon and cold drinks for us. I would recommend this family owned and run hotel to anyone

There was nothing to dislike about this property. The reviews are a real true reflection on this place. The staff are so lovely. They will help you arrange tours and you are guaranteed to be getting a good deal. The rooms are so modern and clean.

Great hotel ! the most kid friendly I've seen, with many equipments, games etc. No breakfast but the 7/11 is 2 min away and the garden is perfect to have breakfast.

The hotel is perfect for relaxing in a hot weather. The swimming pool and the friendly personnel saved us in the heat and made us feel welcome. Great for families with children.

No breakfast option - but the staff recommended a place 15 minutes walk away which was excellent. My initial room was below the water pump for the building and the noise does get annoying, but I was moved to a quieter room on my second night

The location for me was perfect. Close to restaurants and midway between interesting landmarks. The garden and pool are extremely well maintained.

The road outside is quiet and a fair walk to the main area. Might be best to get a taxi or tuk tuk at night.

A beautiful property on a quiet street. We stayed here to visit the Somboon Elephant Sanctuary. We got moved to a larger family room as ours was being renovated. So we had lots of space! The staff were lovely, I left my sunglasses by accident and they came over to the train station to return them before I’d left. The pool and gardens are lush, clean and well kept. With comfy deck chairs and loungers. It feels very secure and they close all the front and back doors at night downstairs too. They let us chill by the pool after we checked out until we were ready to leave and ordered us a tuk tuk to the station.

Great location near River Kwai bridge and other historical places . Pool was nice bonus after day of site seeing . Helpful staff . Walkable to good restaurants. Hotel is very nice . Price/ value was excellent .

We found the hotel perfect if you are seeing all the River Kawi sites.

The hotel was great. Nestled down a quiet street but just minutes away from the busy streets and Night Market. The pool and patio areas were perfect. Our room was compact, super clean, and modern. The staff were helpful in suggesting places. Highly recommend.

Best thing about this hotel was the lovely staff member (I didn’t get her name - my bad) who helped me with finding a driver / car at the LAST minute because of my poor planning. So I managed to get to Hellfire Pass thanks to her help. I hope she sees this review so she knows I appreciate that a lot. I also arrived at 11am off the train, and could check in straight away, which was very kind. The price was great, and although my room was on the ground floor right next to the front door, I didn’t notice any side effects from this. I had an excellent night’s sleep in the very comfortable bed. At first I was worried about the location, being just off the main road, but again - no noise. Down the other end of the road were some nice restaurants, including Aromm, which served great Thai food. Lovely vibe, good value for money, and nice green space out the back. Definitely recommend 😎

The Modeva is near 'the' bridge and several places to eat on the river. It looks new and our room was really spacious and light with a big, comfortable bed. The staff are all lovely and each afternoon when we got back from sightseeing and went to the very welcome pool they brought us refreshing drinks - a nice touch. The River Kwai bridge and train trip are, naturally, really touristy. If you want some peace with your history and are fairly fit - walk the Hellfire Pass trail. Well worth it.

The room was large, well equipped clean and very comfortable. Private garden seating area was a great bonus. Location is brilliant, Only a 5 minute walk to some great eateries, and 15 min to JEATH and the bridge. The pool was a good size, clean well mantained and plenty of loungers available
