I have been staying at the Montien for a few years now it just seems to have a nice fibe.However last trip which was March 2024 I did notice a lot of unfamiliar faces which was alittle disappointing, I assume this happened during renovations .Tikki the doorman was still there which was wonderful and you know I hadn’t been back to Bangkok since covid he knew me as I got out of the taxi.His first words were welcome home.

Great swimming pool that was in the shade after 3 pm. Very good gym as well. Very rich breakfast (continental, asian, salad, fruits, juices…) with everything of high quality. We got the junior suite that is a large and beautiful room, comfortable, on the 16th floor and with a large bathtub. Very friendly and helpful staff.

They didn't answer to our 2 request regarding airport transportation even though they offered us one in the first place. That was really annoying when arriving as we wrote them several times without any answer. The personal at the reception wasn't as attentive and client orientated as the rest of the hotel.

The Montien was really great. We liked to rooms a lot, we had a family suite. It was quiet and spacious. The breakfast was really nice and the personal adored our kids what was sursprisingly at first but really sweet.

Breakfast buffet a little pricey. Strange they bring the check while I’m eating. Why not bill my room when I enter the restaurant.

It right for the price, no complaints.

Nice size room with wide windows that gave the feel of cozy and comfortable, bathroom had good water flow. Buffet breakfast had variety of food and plentiful. It close to (walkable) BTS Saladaeng and MRT Samyan for us to conveniently get to many Bangkok’s attractions. I stayed here 2 times and both time the staff were very hospitality and helpful. I recommend this hotel and will be back to stay again in the future.

Hotel was amazing, more beautiful than in photos. Location was perfect, staff were very polite and professional. The girl who played with instrument in the lobby area was very special/ Breakfast was perfect, a lot to choose. Good Job Montien!!! I will return again for sure.

The only suggestion I have is more loungers/ chairs at the pool. There seems to be a lot of room for them.

There was nothing not to like. The interior of this hotel is so beautiful, every last detail has been thought of. We had a family suite and it was huge, much bigger than expected for a city hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the bar serves good wine, a difficult find during the rest of our two week trip in Thailand.

The bathroom was not clean enough. The tiles was not clean for the money we paid to stay the condition should be tip top.

The location was very center to everything. The room was in good size and the city view was superb. Breakfast was ok.

Buffet could have had some more vegetarian options as there was a lot of pork.

Only one thing. We stayed for an evening meal. All the occupants were eating Asian food but being British, we were taken to a separate room, alone and with a British menu. I should have said that we didn’t want that but we stayed with it and regret it. We would have preferred to be treated like locals and not as foreigners. I’m sure they had our best intentions at heart but it wasn’t what we wanted. It’s my fault, I should have asked to join the main dining room.

The breakfast was exceptional. The view across the city was fantastic. Wonderful laundry service. Polite and efficient staff. Comfortable, clean and a wonderful bar for cocktails. Lovely food. It’s a big hotel but somehow it maintained a personal and intimate atmosphere. The General manager introduced himself and chatted for a while. This was much appreciated as it is not the norm. We were very well treated by all concerned and we were very happy guests.
