The water supply issue happen in the first two days, but they fixed as soon as possible. Maybe short of staff, Front Office hard to find person.

Random noises in the night, like machines going off. It might have been other guests so the workers potentially had no control.

I liked the staff, they were very kind. I liked the trees, felt like a forest. The cleaned the room during the day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good that we could rent bikes-this was an excellent way to go round the island despite the traffic and heat.

The Old Palace is very quaint and peaceful and exceptional value for money. It is around 35minutes walk away from the market and Soi 2 so hire a bike or get Reception to order you Pop's tuktuk or a taxi. Don't forget to tell your driver you want him to come back otherwise it is a long walk home through dark streets. The staff at the Old Palace are lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them. Also the 100 baht breakfast and free tea and coffee and daily water is great Highly recommended

Lovely rustic spot with great host. Breakfast was very good and we hired a scooter from the hotel for getting around. Peaceful and quiet, although can hear dogs barking at night.. We loved the place.

A bit far from the center (but not from historical parc) be careful if you are afraid of dogs because there are lots of stray dogs on the property

I believe that if the breakfast service could improve a little, my rating would go up. Not really a deal breaker, but I think the garden maintenance (death leaves everywhere) can improve as well.

Nice resort located in a green and quite environment just outside the historic area. The staff is very friendly and helpfull with advise and organise bookings for events, transport etc. The room was clean with good a/c, a decent wifi and some small facilities. They have a lot of bicycles and a few motorcycles available at cheap prices for rent to explore the historic area. Using a bike is to me the best way to explore. All major temples have facilities/gards to store the bike without charge. The resort can be reached from the train station by local tuc-tuc (price 120-150 thb). A few simple restaurants are located in walking distance from the resort. The resort itself does not offer dinner and has only limited breakfast service. This is a recommendable place to stay for a few days.

Lovely stay at such a convenient location! Everything was the way it’s presented, host lady was so kind and generous. Lent us bikes for free for a night because we didn’t feel like walking! Breakfast was good. Will definitely be back :)

It was a long walk to the one restaurant there was to choose from.

Quaint, lots of character. The room had a wire rack that was great for many things— holding a suitcase, hanging and drying clothes, and keeping things off the floor. There was a small table and / chairs — very nice to have a place to sit besides the bed! I especially liked that they provided water in a glass, refillable bottle instead of all the horrid plastic that we eye witnessed is floating around in the ocean and beaches around Phuket. Very sweet proprietor and staff.

Crammed room for a family of 4. The hotel had its day of glory and now looks a bit outdated. There is no spa. Laundry service overpriced, 300 baht, when later in our trip we found out it can be done for 100 baht same amount of clothes.

Quiet location. It is walking distance to Eat, however is so hot that you end up taking tuk tuk everywhere as it is a bit outside of the centre. Rooms had comfy beds and a big window with views of trees (only if you stay on the top floor). Big bathroom. Owner is very friendly and helpful, as well as her 4 maids. Provided breakfast for 100baht.

The surrounding buildings in the plot are a bit outdated and not so well kept.

Location is very nice, short bike trip to the main attractions. Staff was kind and helpful and the room was clean and ahd a big fridge. Breakfast was tasty.
