Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MalaysiaWe had a great time staying here! Booked this place as we were attending concert at Chaengwattana hall which is very near and located right next to the building maybe around 5 minutes walk or less if you walk faster. There’s also 7eleven in front of the property and a laundry if u wanna wash your clothes. Location wise i’d say it’s very strategic as there’s a new MRT station (pink line) that just opened recently in front of Central Chaengwattana Mall so it’s very easy to commute if u wanna go to town/city centre or the Airport~~ The room was also clean & comfortable for the 2 of us and the host also prepared us iron & ironing board as per our request. You don’t have to worry about carrying your luggage also as they have an elevator. We appreciate the hospitality so much!! Will consider to come & stay here again if we are coming back to Thailand~~ 😁

MalaysiaWish there was a kettle or microwave. They only provide bar soap for the washroom. There was some bugs on my second night. At night it can be some noise from nearby restaurants and from the pipe in the building.
Great location if you have events to attend near the mall. Walking distance to laundry just opposite, 7 eleven and to Chaengwattana Central mall. Provide housekeeping and new towels everyday. Room equipped with TV, small fridge, large closet and hot shower. It was an easy location to catch Grab for transport. 7 mins walk to the train station near the mall. In house wifi works well.

United StatesThe bed was very hard by USA or European standards, which we have found to be the case in most apartments in Thailand. We solved the problem by buying a mattress pad at a big home goods store in Bangkok, and keep it between visits at our son's house. For others of you, you could sleep on top of the comforter, since nights are warm, or figure out something else. There is a refrigerator, an electric tea kettle, and basic dishes and utensils, but no way to heat food up. I would have liked a microwave. The location is quite far North of downtown Bangkok and its tourist attractions, so that would need to be a consideration for most visitors.
The apartment was small, but provided just what we needed at a very reasonable price. The air conditioning worked well(which is very important for Westerners during April), there was a water heater for the shower(not always the case in Thailand), it was clean, management provided bottled water each week, it was right next to the Central Chaengwattana shopping mall which provided lots of restaurants and a food court along with theaters and a supermarket, and there was a very clean and inexpensive laundromat right across the street. In our case, the location was excellent because it was very near where our son is living. He is teaching Math at a private Thai school in Bangkok, and is off work in April, which is why we travelled then.

Japanthe beds mattressess are quite hard, this seems to be common in Thailand wasn't the only place though, but with softer mattresses and darker window curtains to cut ligh in the morning, it would have been perfect otherwise. Nevertheless, given the price this was not a huge issue. Also, the single rooms are on the noisy side, get a double room appartment for a bit more and you get the quiet buidling side. I am a very light sleeper but had no issues in the double room type.
location is just next to a very large mall with everything you need, restaurants and food shopping very modern. And to the World Medical Center. The two rooms appartments are on the quiet side of the buidling away from road noise, and this appartment uses good quality Japanese AC and Fridges which are also very quiet at night.

PhilippinesWe went to Bangkok to see Suga's concert in Impact Arena. The location is very near the arena and going to different places in Bangkok is pretty much easy from there. It is also a 3-minute walk to Central Chaengwattana mall which was really helpful for us because we can just run to the grocery or department store for any stuff we need during our stay. Outside the place is a 7-11 store, a laundry and some eateries that are actually very good and cheap. Jay and his team's hospitality is exceptional! They made sure our stay was going well and they even guided us on places we can go to in Bangkok, even the food we can try. They also offered housekeeping everyday, which is something we don't usually get in other accommodations. They provided complimentary bottled water everyday, soap and garbage bags. The place is very simple but it's safe, quiet and clean. It's the perfect accommodation if you are traveling to Bangkok, especially if you're seeing a concert in Impact Arena. Another plus, the place was sooo clean, we did not see any vermin at all. We will book this place again when we go back to Bangkok. Thank you, Jay and the team!
