The suite, pool, restaurants and beach

Amazing hotel, great location, stunning beach! lovely welcome on arrival. Exceptional suite with hot tub. One of the best rooms I have stayed in. Lovely pool with great poolside service, the complimentary, cold flannels,fruit and juices were really appreciated. Really enjoyed the seafood beach bbq evening. Top quality food and lovely atmosphere with the live music. We loved that brunch was available until 6pm so we could relax in the morning and not rush to eat breakfast early. I had a great massage in the spa too! Reception staff special mention to Aoi could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I will definitely be returning.

About the empathy of the team, the endless friendlyness, the warmth, the neverending service, the architecture, the parkside? The both marvelous restaurants, the great chefs? The beachside? The place is perfect. Even at the start of the rainy season, it was paradise.

Beautiful room, beautiful beach, beautiful communal spaces. Every little detail has been thought of - from the amount of fresh towels in the room, to the ice water served on the beach, the insect sprays and cold towels to keep you comfortable. Food is very nice - more expensive than you’d find in town but not excessive, and breakfast is top notch - and there are plenty of vegetarian options.

The excursions offered by the hotel were a bit expensive but this is a tourist area so it’s easy enough to find other operators. Having to leave was sad!

The Sarojin is a slice of paradise and one of the best places we have ever stayed. The staff are wonderful and the location is great. The food and drinks are excellent and there are lots of nearby restaurants and bars to try too. The amenities are great and the service at the Sarojin is unmatched!

I really can't think of anything.

Breakfast was amazing as were the staff. Dinner was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The beach is beautiful - it was just a shame that there were a lot of jellyfish being washed up so swimming was not an inviting option. Clearly net a criticism of the hotel.

Pool Restaurant is overpriced - serving small portion of food not really tasty and too expensive for what you have Staff is the minimum friendly Hotel located too far from the center Transfert from hotel is way too expensive - booking a private car by ourselves has been 3 times less expensive !

Very nice resort with lots of of vegetation. The pool is huge and very nice, sun beds are confortable. Our villa was very nice, well decorated and with the necessary space. Breakfast is available a la carte all day and it is amazing !

It is impossible to give more than 100%to the Sarojin so I will refer to the words of the Buddhist monk who ,when asked to describe Zen Buddhism , replied “ If you can explain Zen in words then you don’t understand it.”

Best hotel in the world. We have traveled extensively to many great hotels during the last 50 years but nowhere comes close to this hotel. It is literally perfect. The attention to detail is remarkable so whoever designed and organised this hotel achieved the seemingly impossible . We will be back every year from now on.

Turn down service should be timed for when guests are at dinner. We had to decline turn down each night because we were getting ready for dinner. Also, the cost of the themed dinners were too much.

I would prefer to have a door separating the bathroom/ toilet, but that’s a personal preference. They even installed curtains to separate the bedroom from the bathroom when I requested it. This place is heaven

This is the first time I fall in love with a hotel - after years of 5star hotel travelling. There are many reasons why the Sarojin plays in a different league from all the hotels I’ve been to, I’ll try to state some: The immense, beautiful gardens, with ponds full of lotus flowers and singing frogs. The supreme staff, which serve you and bow at you as if you are the president of the United States or the Pope in an official visit to Thailand :) The incredible a-la-carte breakfast, basically it feels like if you are in the best brunch place of your European city, with unlimited ordering of delicious food, without any schedule! So basically you can go for brunch at 5pm. The location, in front of the nicest beach of Kao Lak. The super spacious rooms with outdoor space and an extremely big and comfortable bed. We’ll surely try to come back at some point and stay longer. I think a trip to Thailand is worth it even just to stay at the Sarojin.

A Spa (especially whirl pool) would be nice. The mattress of the bed was quite hard. They provided a topper but it was still not comfy for my back.

We had an excellent stay. The hotel is in the most beautiful place surrounded by nature. The restaurants are phenomenal and serve great food. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. We loved familiarity. The beach is also very nice. Next to the hotel is a beach bar which serves cheap and delicious food and drinks. We especially love the sustainable approach the hotel has taken to protect nature. We would 100% recommend and come back!

One small feedback point, we still LOVE the property and will come back. - You pay commission on credit card payment when settling the bill. ATM gives very bad exhange rate ( thb/eur 36 while spot is 39.5).

Everything! We liked it so much we even extended our stay with 2 nights. A hidden gem and an oasis in Khao lak. Service and team are top and breakfast ( amazing) is a la carte until 6pm ! You wake up to singing birds and other wildlife. There is a lot of personal touch to it and you feel like you are at a friend’s place ( which is their purpose). The eye for detail is excellent. A 5 star resort that doesn’t feel like a typical big resort but really a very nice gorgeous maintained friend’s place. We want to come back !
