On arrival the price we were quoted by booking.com only applied if you paid cash - additional charges apply for card payments; this wasn’t explained in advance. Could do with a bit of money spending on it, old patio doors/main doors, child-like hair dryer with one temperature … scalding hot. Poolside chairs are dated as are the beach loungers which take a bit of working out. Holes in the poolside umbrella’s which are a bit tatty. Family appear to live on site (which can be seen as good & bad), their things are all around - don’t think they mind your children playing with their things, but also they use the same facilities (pool,bar etc.), not sure whether the seating area to side of reception was for them or guests.

Good location, at end (or beginning) of Bophut strip. Quiet, rooms face towards beach (ours looked directly onto pool). - beach was beyond that. On-site bar with drinks available all day (though they are cheaper & better value at ‘The Hut’ over the road or even cheaper at 7-Eleven & great fresh fruit smoothies (50 baht) from the lady in the cart opposite the bigger 7-Eleven (with car parking at front). Air-con not working when we arrived, reported it & they sorted it straight away.

Loved our corner room overlooking the pool and beach! The welcome (by the owners) was warm and friendly; we loved the cocktail bar by the pool, the bartender's drinks were excellent. Also loved the convenience to the walking street, and especially that the hotel is tucked away at a far corner of the beach, adding to the sense of privacy. There was free Thai breakfast across the street, as their food service was temporarily unavailable.

Dissapointed that the restaurant wasnt up and running, but there are so many places to eat within a short walking distance that this isnt too much of an inconvenience. Hard coral sand beach wasn't the best, so remember your beach shoes!

The staff were all very friendly and happy to go the extra mile every time. Pool was clean and well kept, bar always staffed and cocktails very good. Rooms kept very clean. The location was ideal as quiet enough to feel relaxed but close enough to the main street to feel the holiday vibe. A big plus was the lovely couple who ran a VW campervan cocktail bar just opposite and up the road slightly. We had a fabulous holiday and would recommend to anyone...cant wait to go back next year!

I understand it isn't necessarily meant to cater to a high-end market but cleaning of the room / toilets COULD be more frequent. Safe didn't work. Main quibble was the Wi-FI connection was intermittent.

Location and staff were excellent. Whilst it isn't in the heart of the Village it is still very close and away 'enough' from the main action. Staff were very friendly and engaging.

WiFi didn't reach my room. I could've tried another room when I extended my stay, but I liked my corner location and connected to the WiFi of the cafe behind where I drank coffee daily. Building work is going on behind and in front of the hotel, so it's not very peaceful.

I think the kids room shower wasn't great but I know with some timee and plans any little issues will bee improved..no effect to enjoyment of stay.

The location is exceptional! Right on the beach! Close enough to walk into the main part of Fisherman's Village but nice and quiet away from the noise. We were made to feel part of the family. New owners Chris and Selina made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and their friendly staff took great care of us. Booking trips and restaurants whenever we asked them to. Chris and Selina invited us to join them in the Thai New Year's festivities. We had an amazing experience with them that day, a real highlight of our stay. The pool was clean and inviting, especially with a cold Pina Colada or Singha beer. We are looking forward to seeing the changes and upgrades they are planning for the resort and will definitely be back!

People putting their towels on the sun bed in the morning only to pick them up in the afternoon without having used the sun bed once!!!!

The hotel has a new owner which has only taken over two month ago and is busy improving things which will take some time. I enjoyed my stay as the hotel has a brilliant location right at the end of Fisherman’s Village, all in walking distance and still quiet. Beach at the door step, lovely swimming pool , wonderful garden, rooms are clean, bathroom quite worn out but makeover is already planned.

The room was nice, clean and spacious, shower facilities ok but did the job. Right on the beach and has a pool, which is nice if you want to chill and relax. Breakfast was simple but nice and tasty to start you off for the day. To me the best thing I have to give 10/10 is the staff. They're super friendly, they waited for me to check in after my flight was delayed., Considering I had no way to communicate, this was a relief late at night. In the morning I had planned to catch a boat to Koh Tao, when they told me they were fully booked for the next 2 days, as was also the return date I needed for my flight., My heart sank, as all my plans would now fall apart, not only the cost of non-refundable accommodation, but also I was stuck on Samui and extra 5 days with everywhere fully booked! The ladies on the desk saw the panic on my face and did some calling. 30mins later they had me booked on a boat the next day, returning also on the day of my flight. Leaving only having to find 1 nights accommodation and saving my plans I had on Koh Toa. This was a live saver, I can't thank them enough for their help. For all this and what I observed with other guests in my short stay. I can totally recommend this place.
