Nothing to dislike

Great accommodation, very clean, comfortable bed, great shower, close to the beach but most of all the host family are the loveliest people you could ever meet. The accommodation has a very relaxing feel about it. Travelled for two months round Thailand and Loongyoong was the best sleep I’d had. Close to some great restaurants, smoothie bar and coffee places. Would definitely stay in Loongyoong next time we go back to Koh Lanta. Absolutely loved everything about it.

Location was great, close to beach, shops & restaurants. Friendly staff that would help you with anything you ask for. Clean nice rooms with nice bathrooms & very comfortable beds and pillows.

At times noisy during the night (near thaiboxing stadium, restaurants and other guests.

The 3 bed bungalow was pleasant, the hosts friendly and helpful. Daily change of towels and cleaning.

Property is back to back with the Main Street and one of the bars has occasional live music which was loud, but it wasn’t every night. Typical not a lot of storage/ wardrobe space,,, but not a big issue

Super comfy bed, brand new ultra quiet A/C . Really clean and recently refurbished room, surprisingly big room as well. Good hot shower, classic, Nice outside space with a hammock. Great English speaking friendly helpful owner. (Mr Watson) Laundry done for a great price. 10 minute walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and shops close by.

A microwave would have been nice. I walked to the hotel after dark and a small area on the road had no lights, so I had to use my phone light for a minute.

Nice place. Close to shops and restaurants. 5 or 6 minute walk from beautiful beach. Close taxi stand. Kind people.

Great bungalows in a nice quiet location, Watson our host was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Less than 5 minute walk to Long beach, with restaurants and amenities close by. Watson arranged moped hire and provided a laundry service. This resort is a family run business, well maintained and would highly recommend staying here.

I just loved it here. The owner (Watson) is so kind and helpful with booking tickets, renting a scooter, helping my husband find a way to watch the superbowl game. He showed us the room and made sure everything was working properly when we first arrived. The deck is nice to relax on and the grounds are lovely and peaceful. It is situated in a good area where you are only a 5 minute walk to Long Beach and the many restaurants there. You are also only 3 minutes from the main road where you can get a taxi or try out many different restaurants there. There is a small corner store at that spot as well. Shower was good, the room was a good size, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. It seemed that everyone that stayed there was content. All in all more than just good value for everything.

Just on a Saturday night there is Thai boxing nearby and it’s quite lout goes on till 1140 pm

Loved the room size , loved the gardens. The proximity to the restaurants and also to long beach 5 minutes Most of all loved the family who own Toongyoong. They are so kind and generous. A lovely family , Watson arranged our onward journey to Koh Mook for us x

This was the best place I stayed in Thailand! The room was modern, comfortable and spacious, with a lovely balcony and hammock. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was huge and very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent with a good, modern shower. Wattson and his family were really friendly and helpful, and also gave lots of privacy. The location was perfect, a short quiet walk to the beach, lots of nice restaurants nearby. The accommodation was much better than I expected from the photos and I wish I had booked to stay for longer!

Modern bungalows well put together. Location is great, close to everything you need, 5 minute walk to beach, but set back of the road so feels more secluded than other properties I saw. Property was immaculate. Great big shower head, and lovely modern bathroom. Owner was really nice and helpful, also English good so he can help with making arrangements, taxis etc which was very useful. Overall excellent value for money and will be returning :)

Some rooms have fewer shelves or storage space so that could be improved, but it's really a minor thing.

Clean, large, spacious bungalows. Great value for the price. About 500m walk to the beach. Very nice and helpful staff, I'd definitely recommend booking here.

There is a cockerel singing every morning but didn’t bother me as it’s part of the environment

Nice bungalow 5 mins walking to the beach. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is big, Reading the reviews we requested to get a room far away from the noisy bar that you can hear at the end of the bungalows and Wattson the host gave us a room in a quiet area. He also can arrange activities and scooter for 250 Bath a day. Overall I’m satisfied with the place and I would go back!

There is an event arena in the area which sometimes plays loud music. This usually happens during the evenings, and only on some days. But if you are a light sleeper and have problems with noise, this might bother you. I personally didn't care, the air condition was almost as loud.

Very nice and modern bungalows, spacious and well equipped. Comfy beds. Surrounded by a garden and trees in a very calm environment at the end of a road. Walking to beach 3 min, to main road 2 min, more restaurants in walking distance than you could ever try. Everything else you might need like dive center, mini market or motor bike rental close by. Watson, the owner was very nice and helpful with all my needs.

I would completely recommend staying with Wattson and his family, the place is very nice and you can feel how they take care of everything with love and dedication. Beach is 2min walk and there are plenty of places to eat around. I'm not giving a 10 because there's some noise from the bars and pubs around during the night, but nothing you can't solve with earplugs and usually not until too late. If I come back to Koh Lanta I'll stay here again
