It would have been nice to have free water. One small water bottle per person was not sufficient. The twin beds were a little uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed the staff and the animals. The access to the ocean was unparalleled. The breakfast every morning was so convenient and tasty.

The breakfast needed some small improvements The juice was just sugar orange mix, no bacon, banana, oranges, dragon fruits.

The breakfast was okay, I would prefer fewer really good options than to many okay options. Eggs, toast and coffee watermelon and pineapple. The homemade cookies and banana muffins were very good. Seems very family friendly - but we were comfortable as a middle age couple

Main staff at reception and the staff at breakfast are very unfriendly and unsmiling. There was no wifi either, although that was due to a cut across the island and not the fault of the hotel, but they were not particularly informative or helpful with this.

Fantastic location on a beautiful beach. Lovely, if fairly basic, room with great view. Staff at the beach restaurant are lovely and friendly.

The climb to the rooms could be a bit challenging for some people so just make sure you read what your booking. A little weird giving the key back each day in a bucket at reception for house keeping. Water pressure not the best. But all trivial issues.

It was away from the hustle and bustle of the main club areas,but still a gentle 5 min walk along the beach to get anywhere. Rooms are well sized and the balcony space is very generous. The restaurant is also great value for money too. Highly recommend this place

Staff quite grumpy in general,not great english and felt like I was a pain asking about taxis and buses. Store had not much in it. Its quite out of the way but that's a plus rather than a minus. Man who helped with bags very nice.

Area around the hotel could do with a good clean up. Hotel is very clean.

Beach and rooms are basic but good value for money. Sanit, is amazing and assisted us with all our needs Eddie always help with meals and drinks, always a smile. All staff are very polite and ready to help. The reception could be a bit friendly. You never get any conversation with them. But that is why they get a 9 and no 10. This is my second year back and can’t wait for next year. Quiet and our own private bay. Our type of location

Mosquitoes but it’s Thailand and you’re in a rustic setting so come prepared with long sleeved, loose clothing and insect repellent. There are steps and slopes to the cabins. This didn’t bother us but it may not suit some guests.

A great resort for families and mature guests looking for something laidback, rustic and clean. Its not 5 star but nor is it too hippie. You can walk along the headland to the busier resorts too.

Breakfast was really good. It's location is near the beach and easily reach to enjoy sunrise, sea view and swimming there. The food of the restaurant is also good and price is fair. We have had dinner there with the sea view.

Lots of mosquitoes as soon as the sun goes down!! The bungalows are old and a bit worn. Bathrooms and especially showers are of minimum standards. Most Sunbeds are reserved already between 6 and 7am. The breakfast is simple (no bacon for example, and only pineapple and watermelon for fresh fruits).

The location is great. A little further away from the main beach and crowds but still close enough. A very relaxed armosphere and beautiful beach. The bungalows are cute and surrounded by lots of green. The hotel restaurant has a wide menu and prices are very reasonable. In the evening it’s cosy with candles on the tables and lights hanging from the tree.

A bit shabby in certain aspects, definitely not luxurious in a western style meaning, but it is part of the relaxed atmosphere that remains fully enjoyable

Improve the language skills of the non-Thai staff, who do much of the work around the resort. More taxi's to the resort for easier travel around the rest of the island. Fix the wifi reception which was patchy at times and especially our Netflix connection on the bungalow TV which only worked for a couple of days out of the week, much to our teenage daughter's regret. The staff tried to fix it a few times but it was definitely dodgy.

Tubtim was a friendly, inviting place to stay in a quiet location with its own beach, which we enjoyed daily and was better and cleaner than most others we visited. The bungalow was clean and met all our needs, as well as being in a quiet location at the top of the property with no foot traffic. Breakfast was included and was pretty good, with a range of buffet options to suit. Restaurant and bar food/drinks were fresh, tasty and well priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, although a number of them were not Thai and had some language difficulties, but the senior Thai staff stepped up every time to assist. Facilities were limited, but again met our needs and overfall we enjoyed the week's stay at Tubtim.
