Just wish the bathroom was inside the room or not an outside one. The two different keys and lock designs I'm not used to were abit confusing.

I had a hard time finding the location, but that's only because I hadn't yet bought a SIM card since they were clearly more expensive at the airport. So until I had a stranger call me a Grab, I had a hard time finding the comfortable guest house.

The food was delicious and affordable. Great prices compared to outside. The owner is genuinely friendly and gave me great public transportation directions to get to the Eastern Bus Terminal walking and then utilizing two metro lines. Rooms are spacious, clean and a great value.

The doors of the rooms were very flimsy, making security a bit of an issue. Don't expect any view if you do not choose from the specific rooms.

Very central location in old Bangkok. Manageable walking distance to sites and Khao San road. Very close to food stores and mini markets. Decent sized room and bathroom. Hot water all day.

It's a perfect place to stay! The stuff was so polite and kind to us, one beautiful lady showed us how everything worked here, there was a clean room, comfortable bed, cheap breakfast in this room) So, we liked it, it took us about 8 min to get to the underground, it was convinient! Thank you!

There wasn’t anything i didn’t like

The staff were friendly and welcoming and really went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable. This is so much nicer than I expected for the price. The room was spacious and comfortable and the A/C worked great. The location was quiet and far away from the chaos but close enough to everything I needed. There was delicious food nearby and the beach was a short drive away. I traveled solo and always felt safe. The pool and gym were fantastic and they even loaned me swimming goggles! I definitely plan on coming back.

They only accepted cash, which was super inconvenient. Their exchange rate, should you not carry cash checking in, was bad. Room was getting hot very quickly and the AC was leaking at times. The fridge was not working while not it the room, which made it impossible to store anything for more than a couple of hours.

Great value for amazing location close to lots of central things to do in Bangkok. Whenever we pass through Bangkok we stop here. It is very backpacker friendly and the owner is very hospitable. Private bathroom or shared bathroom are both very clean!

Service quality dropped when Daniel is not there. Breakfast did not include any green salads. 3 ladies were there. My dad noted that they did not smile. We immediately noticed the difference.

I chose U&D guest house based on the location. Great location. Easy access to all kinds of transport and the main attractions. Daniel is a great host. His service was an excellent.
