Our room had blinds on the floor length window to the common areas where people walked past. Not usually a problem but curtains covering past the window edge would be better for privacy.

Location for the Bridge over the river Kwai and the museum was perfect. The road outside could have been a little better maintained but you could use a complimentary bike if requested. Breakfast was superb, good choices and eggs cooked on order. Evening meal was really good as well, good choices for the western appetite. Go over the bridge and past the communal area and we found a great restaurant that had superb food and service. Jeera Museum is also close. If you wish to ride the train, advised to do this in the morning. There is just so much to see, spread out over miles. Try a long tail ride, 15 minutes leisurely going up the river and a 5 minute return at speed thats exhillirating.

If i had to be super fussy, maybe rooms are a little dark and could do with some extra lighting and one room was next to the stairs which you can then hear every person going up and down.

Lovely Thai style resort set right next to the river Kawai, very well kept resort, with the bridge within walking distance. Food was very good and we all enjoyed our breakfast each morning, will certainly be coming back next time we visit the area.

Service at peppers restaurant was pretty average. Great location but hard to get service.

ANZAC day dawn service at Hellfire pass was awesome, then a march in town. Hotel organised everything.

My only complaint is that there was a wedding on during a day we were present. This wedding started at 7am and continued until around 2pm. This meant the pool or riverside areas were not available to guests. Additionally, it felt like the staff attention was suddenly diverted elsewhere, and even the breakfast was poorer on that day. All of this might have been easier to take if the we had of been told it was happening when we booked in. Instead, we had to work it out ourselves and make our own enquiries as to when the pool/other areas would be available.

Perfect location in Kanchanaburi. Just a short walk to the Bridge and a short drive to areas downtown such as the museum, night markets and skywalk. The hotel is actually set on the river and it is beautiful to use the seating down there, or have a drink at the restaurant and watch the sunset. Rooms were small but comfortable. Tea/coffee provided. Coffee is a percolator and they also have a decaf option. Laundry service on site, but it is not cheap, although they do a great job. Staff here were really lovely. Breakfast is in the restaurant and had some good variety. Definitely worth the inclusion. We also had a nice private outdoor seating area off the room. Plugs by the bed for charging, which is always preferable. Air con was good, although off when you leave the room as the room card is the electricity. Two bottles of water provided daily. TV in the room, but didn't use it.

Absolutely no where to dry bathing suits. A couple of drying racks in courtyard during the day would have helped. Could have used a chair in the room to sit at. We were upgraded to larger room but no terrace. Terrible wifi. No English tv and Netflix kept lagging on device. Nothing else nearby so you need good wifi.

Room was very comfortable. Area was quiet. Breakfast was fresh and good. Pool towels supplied. Staff seemed very happy and helpful.

The service at the restaurant for dinner was disappointing, with a long wait time for meals and prices that weren't exactly budget-friendly. Consequently, we opted to dine elsewhere on our second night and found several better options.

Friendly and very helpful staffs, superb breakfast, some of the mini bar items are free and clean room. The staffs able to converse well in English as well making communication a breeze.

Fantastic location by the river including the restaurant. Well manicured gardens so a great place to relax. The free use of bicycles was a good way to explore the town

The only thing I wasn't keen on was the sausage and bacon wasn't kept warm being English you know we love our cooked breakfast however the fresh fruit bread pastries and its location for views of the river while dining where second to none

The location was spot on 3 or 4 minutes walk to the bridge views of the bridge from the restaurant terrace and pool

Had dinner one night, the food quality has gone down since we stayed here 1 year ago. Prices also were quite high compared to surrounding restuarants.

Breakfast Buffet was good however the staff was always in the back room when you needed something. Not a deal breaker. Spectacular views of the River Kwai and Bridge from the resort.

Great breakfast location and very good service. A special thanks to Amp, the wonderful receptionist. She was very professional and very kind. She provided assistance several times and she is a great asset to the hotel. We’ll be back.
