Very minor things: The hotel closes the main gate in the early evening so we had to park our vehicle in front after we returned from sightseeing/dinner. Also, there was no running water when we woke up on the last morning of our stay. It returned a couple of hours later before we had breakfast and checked out.

We enjoyed the serenity and peaceful feeling of the garden and patio areas. We liked the traditional features and layout of the residence. There are good restaurants within a short walking distance. We always felt the owners cared that our needs were met and went above and beyond to help us.

Do not book a supposed deluxe room on the ground floor!!! Book a standard room with wooden details. We had a ,deluxe kingside bed, room on the ground floor. It was very dark. On the pictures of booking com it's all lit up. And it smelled mouldy. I could not stop coughing all night for 3 nights. The bathroom sometimes had a sewage smell.

We loved the garden and flowers. And how lovingly the staff cared for it. We also loved the sitting area at the river. The hosts were very sweet, caring and helpful.

The room is big and clean , all aminities are really good. The bed is comfy and nice Breakfast is moderate for american breakfast and some thai sweet. They provide coffee and juice that are good. The hotel is located at the rim of chaopraya opposite to Wat Putthaisawan. The view is really good.... it is cozy stay!

I really don't think there was anything I didn't like.

The western style breakfast was eggs, sausage, a couple of cherry tomatoes, some beans, toast, yogurt, fruit juice and coffee. The Thai style breakfast was a chicken and rice soup , some thai style pastry . Everything was well prepared and my wife and I never felt like we didn't have a decent breakfast. Coffee was exceptionally good. The eating area is in a small courtyard that is overflowing with plants and trees. It is a very beautiful place to have a meal.

fantastic property on the river with a beautiful garden. The room was very comfortable and the heritage vibe suits the location well. We took a private boat trip from the hotel jetty around the area and back without having to even leave the property garden.. In the morning, we crossed the road and walked around the historic ruins - location is perfect.

There was a set breakfast but on the first day we weren't told what it was and it included some things I don't like. Simply informing us beforehand abd allowing us to refuse certain ones would be better. The food was cooked well though.

Lovely location on the river with a great cafe. The garden is very beautiful, full of different plants. Just across the road is a large park, great to walk around with some interesting ruins to see. The location is also useful to get to some convenience shops about 5 minutes down the road and plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. The room was done is a very nice traditional Thai style but with modern conveniences. It was very clean.

I loved this little hotel. There are two buildings - one with modern/Western architecture and decor, and one with traditional Thai style. In between the buildings there is a lovely, lush, and serene garden, which leads down to a riverfront sala. My room was one of my favourites in Thailand - it was full of character, well maintained, and very comfortable. The design inspired me for my own home! The breakfast was very complete and tasty. The location is quite central in Ayutthaya, and there are a variety of good restaurants within walking distance. But you don't hear any street noise when you're on the property. And finally, the owners/staff are so nice and welcoming. I strongly recommend this hidden gem.

Mosquitoes and steps in the garden which very dangerous.

The location is great, right by the river and many restaurants and cafe near by. Staff are friendly. The house is simple and pleasants,but the Thai house and garden are not suitable for old people as there are too many steps.

Bicycles had to be rented at nearby store (50/day) and were not freely available at the hotel as advised. A little bit more variety regarding breakfast would've also been nice considering the price.
