How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Bed wasn't very comfortable and the room wasn't the cleanest.
Very close to Khaosan Rd, room was an okay size for 1 person, 2 nights.

No place to put your stuff. No hangers and no shelves. With two peoole this was a challenge
We were 99% sure we booked with breakfast included. But there was none. It would be nice to include breakfast. Also there are NO places for clothes or toiletries so that was a challenge! Some coat hangers and shelves would be awesome! Otherwise a quiet clean room in a fabulous location🙏

Got room right with windows to the main street. Needed to sleep with noise cancelling headphones. Slept like on the middle of the street - heard everything! :D

Staff wasn't great. WiFi didn't reach our room very well unless we got close to the door, and our room was pretty noisy from the street even on 5th floor.
It was right next to Khaosan, which is great for some things, but very noisy at night depending on the room you get. It was cheap so it's good value, and you have AC and the place was clean.

Great location, but the pool is in another hotel which is down the street, not on site, and breakfast is in the cafe next door. I would recommend not paying the extra for breakfast as it can be bought cheaper in any cafe along the street, and the choice was limited

The stair !
The room is so clean and comfy and very nice size for me and my young Adult daughter to move around the room comfortably. The price is great and location is great . Wish that receptionist is located more convenient for people who have family and luggage, it very difficult to drag heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs to checkin or out of the hotel , Otherwise the room is great !

the room are very small, it’s noisy, the bathroom is old and the breakfast is just a joke. Very expensive for what they offered. there are many better options near this one better and cheaper

Location was great in that it is on doorstep to nightlife and shops with Kho San Road, just a walk through the alley. However, we were located on the kho San Road side of the street, and the noise was extreme until gone 4.30am each morning and with very little to no soundproofing sleep was hard to find. We ran out of toilet paper on the first day, unable to locate anyone in our building we bought our own, along with our own water. We ate downstairs in the restaurant, breakfast was amazing but the dinner we had was not good and not met with a good response from staff when we tried to address it.
The room had everything we needed: the bed was very comfortable, had a spacious room, had an excellent shower, had decent pillows, had air conditioning, and had a balcony. Very comfortable. We didn't see staff after first checking in but very pleasant contact with them.

A bit noisy, but we were expecting that as it is in heart of the party area, which is convienient.
Bus arrived at 1 am, close to bus drop off ,they booked us in.

If you are part of the partylife in Khaosan you might find this OK. I had a room whith a window to the street. Lots of noice an loud song and musik until 2-3 4 o'clok in the morning.
You ask about the staff. I did not see any - except for check in - during the five days.

Nothing didn’t really like, just our room had no window.
Great location came as a group of 3. 2 night stop over before our next flight. Good location. Restaurants on rambuttri, bars on khoasan road in front.

Service. No TV??? Waitresses were slack.
The service at the restaurant was awful. They forgot our order. The hot lattes were cold everything I wanted they didn't have. A very I don't give a crap attitude. They advertise cable TV but there was nothing when I asked reception just shrugged and casualty said there was no TV and the price wasn't cheap. The other villa cha cha down the road were so unbelievably rude to us as well. So no a great review
