Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

I loved the garden and the cafe/reception with its huge fountain & plant covered vessels and the surrounding tropical countryside. The owner Pizzy is amazingly warm and generous ( and super stylish). It’s a 15 minute walk to the almost desert beach, and the Hallo Villa pool is a great option.

The views, gardens and nature/wildlife. Staff (even with language barriers) are kind, friendly and helpful, not to mention amazing! The breakfast veggie omelette was delicious (best I have had on 2 months travel) also melon so fresh and sweet. Free Water refills (no plastic waste) and also amazing hot Lattes in large cups. Clean, great bedding and bed so comfortable. You will need a scooter which we rented from here and they are in great condition and so impressed at the quality, came with full tank so not worrying about finding garage at the start. We extended our stay as we loved villa 8 and room/view so much . Eagles, cranes and sounds of frogs, insects , for us was heaven. We had been travelling in Thailand since the 5th October and really needed a place to rest and relax, Hallo Villa provided that haven for us, before embarking on the next leg of our travels. The pool was clean and lovely to swim each day. Khanom is not touristy, (which we loved ) so many local places to eat which are authentic and delicious, with delivery too! Khanom is a lovely relaxed place, people are so friendly, as they go about their daily lives. There are miles of empty beaches and also greenery all around you. Pizzy and her husband are lovely people, she even gave us a gift , embroidered with our names, which was a traditional printed Sarong. Will treasure this place and people forever. As other have said, this is not a resort for folk that want everything laid on and perfection. This is where local Thai people come with their families to enjoy and rest.

UkraineVery friendly atmosphere, beautiful location to be in the heart of nature in a peaceful location. Not for perfectionist but for people who love to be more involved into the local living. Absolutely fantastic stay. The charming Pizzy and all staff provide the warmest Thai hospitality. We even extend our stay here for 2 days more. And defenitely want to visit once more.

NetherlandsThis resort is an amazing place to stay in Khanom! Pizzy, the owner, takes so much time and effort to give you the best time. The rest of the staff is also extremely nice and caring. The bungalows are unique and cute, and the breakfast is great! There are also some options on the menu for lunch/diner, which is very yummie food. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot. If we will visit Thailand again we will definitely come back to this place!

SingaporeLots of insects but that being part of nature, its something we just have to accept.
The breakfast was amazing. The lady boss served us drip coffee with toast/ eggs and homemade jam. We could even taste the real fruits in the jam. Having breakfast in the outdoor setting was amazing and we really feel connected with nature. The pool was clean and definitely a lifesaver in the crazy Thailand heat. Fresh water and coffee were readily available 24/7 within the resort. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Hallo Villa.

NetherlandsKhanom does not have taxi drivers or tuktuks driving around to pick up tourist. There are some at the centre but they're expensive. The location of this accommodation is a little bit further away. But you can rent scooters for 200 baht a day at the reception and the owner even brought us to the night market and picked us up.
Most friendly owner I've ever met. She will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable. Our bungalow was at the edge of the forest and from our terrace you could watch all different kinds of birds. I even saw a kingfisher. The common area around the reception looks amazing with a pond and even some swings and there's a free coffee/tea bar. Awesome swimming pool
