Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThere was nothing to dislike about the villa. We hope to come back.
This is an exceptional stay for families with young kids. We loved everything about the villa from the staff to the pool and the breakfast and the koi fish pond. Very relaxing. Very clean and beautiful place. The staff was super helpful as well -- helping us to arrange transport and recommend places to go with kids. We hope to return!

United KingdomPerhaps a more defined area just outside the pool steps, to ensure the next door villa keeps to their area versus ours....we moved a couple of sunbeds to that area (family of six but only four next to pool), only to find the next door villa started to use these the following day. A very small point but perhaps worth thinking about.
'Win' our villa manager was totally superb from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. 'Win' is also an awesome chef, creating daily delicious breakfasts and the occasional evening meal. The villa was a calm oasis just off the main road in Surin. The pool was clean and refreshing, plus planned very well as a communal area, with enough privacy for each villa's guests.

Indiabeautiful villas with amazing fish pond in the middle. The whole place is lush green with a beautiful sala and dinning area. The pool though shared with neighborhood villa is huge and beautiful, one gets there privacy. ... Fred and his family did everything to make it special for our family. The villa is just walking distance from the beach with lots of amazing local restaurants within 5 minutes walk if one wants to explore eating out. While this is a 4 bedroom villa, if someone has a larger family they can take adjoining 5 bedroom villa or complete 9 bedroom villa. Highly recommend it.

United KingdomHaving to leave!
Maybe you're like me, looked at the 10 out 10 outstanding score, and thought really? Having stayed there with my family i can confirm it is really that good. It is without doubt a luxury 4 bed villa. What for us ( mix English and Thai family) made it outstanding was that additional level of service provided by Jason and Brian. So getting your laundry done, is just part of the service, as is breakfast...But "getting breakfast " was literally up to you, (as they are quiet fond of saying in Thailand) in what you wanted, how you wanted, and in what quantity you wanted. It's very fair to say...ask Jason "can you....?" I'm pretty sure the answer is likely to be yes. As an example, we wanted the personal chef for an evening meal(birthday celebration) for 8. They have a menu, but to be honest that's actually just to help people staying. We ordered about 50% what was similar to the menu and 50% of thai food we love, but not on the menu. What was impressive was 1 dish i personally wanted Jason hadn't cooked before. instead of "sorry cannot " it was "show me and i will try my best" btw they were pretty good (poo Ja). The attention to detail they delivered was, well damn good! Whilst i think, we are not the most demanding of families, I'm pretty sure Jason and Brian could deliver pretty much all reasonable expectations. Is it worth its luxury 10 out 10 tag? Yes, yes it is. Would we stay again? absobloodylutely...gents see you next year

Hong Kongwe have stayed in many villas abs hotels across south east Asia. This is by far the best experience we have had and exceeded all our expectations In terms of the service, the amenities, cleanness, the food, location and comfort. Service is impeccable, the owner of the villa provided many useful tips and advise and responds immediately on WhatsApp. There’s a free pickup and return from airport with a spacious van that can easily accommodate 9 passengers. The villa is supported by two full time staffs that caters to all your needs from cooking delicious breakfast (included) and lunch or dinner if required to helping you with errands such as getting a great deal on a car rental service. As we stayed for over a week we also used the laundry service provided at the cost of a tip, which is a tiny fraction of the cost if you were to use a hotel Landry service. We got our clothes not only cleaned by the end of day but also all neatly pressed and folded! the daily breakfast we got is cooked fresh every morning in the gourmet kitchen, based in your choice including handmade Thai spring rolls, and sumptuous amount of fruits. Amenity wise , the villa provides all the standard amenities you expect from a 5 star hotel including beach towels (replaced daily), unlimited bottles of water. what is truly unique is the koi dish pond where there is a jar of fish food you can feed. Cleanness is important to me and each of he bedrooms and bathrooms are very well maintained. The cilla is designed personally by the owner and has many unique elements such as the 5,000 Kg coffee table which is in the shape of a rock, that’s built on a granite base foundation. While I’m. it an architect but the overall design gives you the feeling that you are being transported to a spa facility with own private garden, and waterfall.
