Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

This is our second time there. I travel with my daughter (13). We are always made to feel welcomed. The rooms are always immaculately cleaned each day. The pool is one of our very best in Thailand. Lamai beach is chilllll… Lamai streets are getting much busier now. we prefer it early in the mornings, when the locals are smiling and less tourists. McDonalds is now open in Lamai which shows the place is coming back to life. The pizza in the market at the bottom of the road is exceptional for 180BAHT. We rented a car and parked it in the Weekender car park. Just a lovely place, amazing staff, great little bar by the beach, nicest people. Nice gym. Feels like our home in Thailand.

The WiFi is not suitable for a digital nomad or online business owner as they restrict you 2 devices per room

United KingdomThe breakfast felt expensive for what was on offer. We didn't realise the bar wasn't open at night times, not a big issue as the supermarket is so close but as we had our small son with us an evening bar would've been a bonus.
Everything was pretty fantastic during our stay at the Weekender. The hotel is in a really great location with all amenities, restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. Access to the beach was great and the pool area was fantastic. The rooms were a great size and the bed was super comfy and enormous. The staff were also super lovely and treated our son like a superstar. The gardener even cut down and prepared a coconut for him! Personally we feel that the previous reviews seem unfair given that the hotel felt pretty high end for a reasonable price.

United Kingdomroom was dark and very damp with mold on the ceiling which after only 1 night left me with a head cold and sore throat. bathrooms felt unclean with shower water running around the bath and flooding the floor, which only added to the damp feel. reception unstaffed at times, pool/beach bar area lacked enough tables and chairs and was also closed at 5.00pm for a reason we couldn’t work out. breakfast seriously overpriced at 450bhat with so little choice we didn’t bother to eat
first impression is great, but that’s where most of the positive stuff stops, except the swimming pool which was good

United KingdomThere is a smell from time to time… but really, we don’t look for faults. it’s an inexpensive hotel that is amazing value for money. Anyone who complains is missing the point. Is it perfect? No! But… is it friendly and fun and a great location with great stand and value for money? Yes, yes yes! 10 out of 10 x 10!!!
My daughter and I thought the staff were brilliant. Thank you for your help. Every time we walk past the lobby the staff always smile and wave. Thank you for helping us with everything we asked. The staff were what really made this experience 10 out of 10. We spent 9 days here. We found the location to be perfect. When I got ill my daughter was able to walk to the pool/restaurant and also the restaurant over the road and the pharmacy down the road. The location was perfect and safe. The room was spacious, it was cleaned regularly. The balcony was good. Really, we used this place as our base and it was exactly as I expected and hoped. coffee regularly stocked up. Beds regularly made. Bathroom tidied. We really liked the Weekender… Oh.. and the pool and the beach but… the pool!!! So beautiful… paradise!
