How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

They don't have a breakfast service, but this is not a big problem, since there are a lot of good restaurants nearby.
The location was perfect to reach every main service at Ao Nang beach. The staff was very helpful and polite. The room was one of the most comfortable we slept in on our trip to Thailand. The hotel is not a fancy place, but it has all the facilities you need, all the attention of the staff and all he comfort you search during a nice trip. I will come back to this hotel in my next staying in Ao Nang!

tv was only in thai, they locked the door after a certain time, did have to take your shoes off but we didn’t mind.

The room was dirty on our arrival and despite daily cleaning there was always something housekeepers forgot about. AC was loud and smelly at times, and there were sometimes some horrible sewage smells coming out of the bathroom.
Spacious room, comfortable beds, nice shower. Excellent location close to everything, 10mins walk to the night market, evek less to 2 different beaches and boat services in any direction. Totally worth the price.

Nothing major: Had to take off shoes before going upstairs.
Great location. Within walking distance of the beach. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and booked our Phi Phi tour for us.

The staff give off a strange vibe as soon as we checked in. We removed our shoes like we were asked but they are very very strict with this. It seems they watch the cameras from the shop next door to check on you doing it and as soon as you enter they come after you to make sure you have removed them. It’s a bit intense and made us feel uncomfortable. The traffic was also really loud because we were on the road side but wasn’t too much of an issue once we went to sleep.
Rooms were really big, clean and comfortable, Good location and there is a bike shop right next door which is handy.

It felt a little weird that we had to remove our shoes next to the reception area and then only go upstairs in the room. I understand that cleanliness matters but the shoes area smelled bad
The location was perfect for our trip. It was quiet in the busy area. The staff was helpful and it was perfect for a one-night stay.

We have asked for the room on the other side of the building as next to the main road is very loud. Despite the fact that rooms were free host did not allow us to change the room.

Only negative was we had our laundry done at the hotel and when we got it back all of our white T-shirt and shorts were dyed pink :/

our bed sheets were clean but had stains on them

The location was a little far from the beach which the hotel can do nothing about. I really wish they had a lift so that it was easy for us to carry our luggages.
The hotel and the room was very clean and organized. The room was spacious and the washroom was very well functioning. The washroom was very clean too and was a plus point. The hotel was very affordable.

the staff were very friendly, they greeted us with free donuts! the location was good as it was a five minute walk away from the busy strip that had lots of shops and restaurants. the room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. great for a short night stay in ao nang.

Nice clean room with conditioner and everyday there are bottles of water for each person and coffee with milk. Good location, a lot of places are near that hotel. Really nice and friendly stuff) There are no breakfast but there is a shop in the hotel with some snacks and essentials. In the room there was everything we needed. We really enjoyed staying here.
