Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LiechtensteinI booked the suite with Whirlpool. It turned out, that it was a normal pool/bathtub on the balcony. No problem at all, because it was way to hot for a Whirlpool anyway - but maybe it would be good to change the description, so that the expectations are not set on a Whirlpool. :)
Really nice hotel and the staff was so friendly and helpful! The location was also great, because there were some nice restaurants and cafés nearby.

United KingdomThe most comfortable nights sleep of my trip so far! The kind of bed and pillows that you blissfully sink into after a long day. I stayed for one night before a bus/ferry across to the other coast - Xinlor was a great base for this. It was close enough to the fun of Old Town centre to explore but also to the Lomprayah check-in desk the next morning. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and my room was modern and clean. I’d happily return to Xinlor House if ever in the area again.

United Arab Emirates- mosquitoes were there throughout the stay. - no elevator. So it's not suitable for families with kids. - the staff were nice and helpful, but until the last minutes they weren't ready to help. - extremely low pressure toilet bidet water. The AC in the livingroom of the suite was useless. - The soap refill bottles in the rest room were made of glass which very weird in hotels because might fall and break into invisible small pieces and that's an dangerous safety hazard. I broke one of the bottles and my wife suffered from invisible glasses wounded her foot even after cleaning. ( THE REFILL BOTTLES MUST BE PLASTIC MADE) - the property doesn't provide a baby portable bed.
- The property design philosophy was incredible. - near phuket most colorful street. - near sunday market. - very comfortable bed. - clean and neat. - bathtub on roof experience was unique. - master room heat isolation was good. - the fan next to bed was the smartest idea ever especially in thailand. - perfect for short stay without kids.

Best boutique hotel in the area, with history. Massive room. Pick the one with the balcony, perfect for a morning coffee overlooking the historic colourful buildings on Dibuk Road. And to catch up on a load of travel washing! The location is perfect — there are fantastic coffee shops and cafes nearby, plus bars. A short walk to the Sunday Night Market and nearby mall. Rooms were well stocked, plenty of bottles of cold water were fantastic. The shampoo smelt lovely too. Netflix and YouTube on the TV but you won’t need it since the location is great. A special mention to Chris at the front desk who was kind, incredibly attentive and helped me lug a massive bag up the flights of stairs! Would absolutely stay again.

United StatesClean and well appointed noting that the properties around the building are not in as good if repair. My room was at the far back of the hotel and will it had a lovely balcony with three arches it looked out onto a dirt patch with dilapadated buildings.
Located in Old Town Phuket and right near the Sunday Night Markets (but off another road so thankfully not right on the route/street). Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Staff was polite, efficient and helpful.

United KingdomReception closed at 7pm and we arrived a little later so the gates were locked and no one answered when we called the number on the door - we were concerned that we wouldn't know how to get in, but luckily the receptionist heard us when we shouted out for help. A minor improvement would be that our table on the terrace was very rusty, so could have done with a new table set, especially as all the other facilities in the suite were excellent.
A very pleasant stay. A little boutique hotel, out of the hustle and bustle of the Old Town but still on the same road so easy walking distance from the town. The suite was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, it had good working air con and security safe for passports. The terrace and bathtub outside was very nice, with petals in the bathtub on arrival. They left drinking water for us on the fridge, plus tea and coffee. We felt comfortable there as it's an easy place to relax.

Great location in Old Town, easy walk everywhere in town, the hotel interior looks cool and the room was comfortable with a nice balcony looking out on the street. Only stayed one night but that seems right for the town. Doesn't offer breakfast but the place across the street was very good.

LatviaWe did not mind and found that funny, but a small lizard came into the room due to the roof gaps in the living room ceiling
Everything was great! Staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean, AC was working and was not hitting in face and was not loud. We enjoyed the soundbar in our room. The bath, oh that was just amazing. Location was close to the old city. Across the street was good place for breakfast and you could get nice massage next door. *did not make a photo of a bedroom and in the toilet there is a regular shower I did not make a photo.

United KingdomA really nice little hotel in of the beautiful colonial streets in Phuket Town, but a quiet street compared to some others. We had the standard room and the Deluxe with balcony facing the street. The standard room is basic but great for the price. The Deluxe room has a desk and chair and the balcony is great with a beautiful view and sun during the day. Both rooms were very clean, had fridges and a kettle and the Deluxe room also a pod coffee machine. The staff was very nice. I absolutely loved the decoration of the hotel. It made it very cosy, personal, different. We loved our stay and would come back.

CanadaThe bathroom area is quite small. And there were ants all over the sink.
The hotel is in a good location to easily be able to walk around the old town. There were a lot of excellent restaurants and shops close by. The port is also within walking distance or only a short drive away if you are planning to explore other islands. Overall, the room was cozy and decent for a 1 night stay.
