How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Fabulous little guesthouse. We stayed an extra night! Very friendly and helpful people. Rented bikes from them too.

The first room we rented was dark and a bit noisy from the outside with a not interesting view.
Overall, the hostel is very nice with friendly and caring staff which provides very nice snacks, bananas, bread, and 2 bottles of water in the morning. Additionally, there's sometimes a soup. The rooms were clean with good AC. The towels are changed every day and the bedsheets every few days. The hostel is very close to the sea. You can rent a bike for 50bht or a motorbike for 200bht for the whole day. It was nice enough for us to prolong the stay for the same price despite the high demand and for a few days we got a bigger room with a nicer view and a lot of light - I would heartily recommend taking the bigger room as it was very nice. I would definitely go back to this place again in the future.

What a fantastic guest house. Warm friendly greeting on our arrival, the room was immaculate and cleaning was done daily. The aircon worked really well the location was really good with access through the airforce base to the beaches just around the corner. Everywhere in town was walkable and the guest house had bicycles and scooters for rent at a very good price to explore further. There were many restaurants close by and the town beach was a minute away. A great stay at a great price with complimentary breakfast and all day free tea and coffee.

Great place, feels like you're at home. Super friendly couple of owners. Extremely clean. Location is good, in a quiet area, but within walking distance from restaurants. The little free breakfast and tea/coffee corner is an amazing plus.

My only 2 fairly minor complaints is the bed mattress was a bit hard for my liking, and the tv did not have one single english channel which really sucks when you're stuck in your room for hours because of rain.
the place is very clean, neat and tidy, well cared for. Free coffee / tea / bread / jam / biscuits. Can hire a motorbike there for 200 baht per day, which was very convenient.

We didn't have enough time on our visa to stay here any longer 😁
The location is excellent, close to beaches, markets, eateries and tourist attractions. Quiet at night The room is a great size with comfortable bed, TV, fridge, desk and balcony with table and chairs and a drying line for clothes. The bathroom is very clean and modern with a good shower. Room is spotless and cleaned every day with fresh drinking water supplied. Downstairs has a seating area and the WiFi is good throughout. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful. There is a kitchenette area with a microwave and toaster downstairs with a sign saying free food and tea/coffee. There is always fruit, bread and jam available and in the morning you get two fried eggs with a little side salad as well which we were not expecting. They have bicycles and scooters for hire. V&N far exceeded our expectations. Booked 3 nights and stayed for 4, would definitely come back.

It won't be for everyone. Small basic. If you are expecting 5 * hotel, you will be disappointed.
Location, like staying with family. Very helpful. Good value for the money. .

The pillows in the room where large and hard too. I had serious problem with that. They managed to give me a small pillow though this was after a couple of hours. Those pillows are really big, The owner would do good if he does something about them
I was there one day only. The little breakfast was very tasty, though I had had my breakfast outside on the day that I was leaving.

Second visit in as many months to this charming B&B style guesthouse. Friendly owners, super clean rooms, fast Wi-Fi, great location on the traditional cultural street in town. Rental scooter available too.

Excellent quality for price and great location. The room was very confortable, and the couple owning the place is very friendly and helpful. You can also rent a bike or a motorbike there.

we had an amazing stay, the room is super nice and clean and has everything you need. the owners are super nice they even provided a free food and drinks corner. so you could have a bit breakfast in the morning without charge. highly recommend this place

Nice spacious room with balcony, A/C and fridge. Free bread, bananas, tea, coffee jams and etc. There's also a microwave, toaster, water boiler, plates and cutlery available. It's in a great location, nice and quiet but with plenty of places to eat nearby. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
