- the hotel is quiet outdated and some parts need to be replaced - loud A/C in the room - bathroom is quite inconvenient (no curtains between shower and toilet) - lack of hotel personnel

+ location is super calm and chill + nice beach where you can always swim (comparing to other beaches on the island) + at this hotel you can get everything you need for nice vacation + free sup boards/kayak for hotel customers + rooms are in front of the beach literally (don’t miss to book the pool access room) + staff is friendly

Only slight criticism was sometimes the smell of the rubbish which was unfortunately located under our room, sometimes wafted up under the heat.

We really enjoyed it here, we actually extended from 3 nights to 5 nights. The beach location was a perfect wind down after our 6 weeks in Thailand, we loved the use of the paddleboards and kayaks and the lady making smoothies on the beach was lovely too. The beds were also the comfiest we have had our entire time in Thailand and the cleanest room we've had in Thailand too- the cleaners did an amazing job! The sea views on our balcony from the room was wonderful too. We didn't want to leave.

Its not like something I dnt like, but its a bit pricey to reach there. But I knew that before booking al island stay, so cant really complain.

Beautiful location with very helpful employees. I booked a room with sea view and infinity pool. Price may look a little steep but its so worth it. The food in the restaurant is also too good.

The staff work very hard but there are not enough of them. I didn’t think this was fair on the waiters and waitresses. I think management need to employ more staff.

Bathroom has no shower screen and floods the floor. Air conditioning and room fridge rather noisy.

Location directly on the beach. Comfortable chairs on the terrace. Staff really helpful and sorted any issues very quickly. Free canoes and paddle boards.

A small boutique hotel, sandwiched between two large resorts. The service staff is very kind, and especially the one named Ok. Many thanks for the sincere care of the guests. Breakfast is not buffet style, but good enough and plentiful. The rooms are large, spacious and tidy.

Everything was perfect! It’s our third time staying at this resort and it will not be our last. The staff here is so welcoming and will do everything to make your stay as perfect as possible. The food is great, the location is wonderful and the rooms are really nice. You even get a private pool for yourself, but we mainly used the beach. It’s absolutely wonderful here at Yao Yai Beach Resort!

Safe was not bolted to anything.

This is a 3 star hotel between two 5*. Staff have limited English but they do the best. Room with pool access was excellent and is 10secs from the beach. Plenty of hot water. Room is clean daily with the bed changed. Can't really fault it. Breakfast option is only of 3. Thai fried rice, Yogurt or toast with tea coffee. Again its simple. Can't really fault it, price your paying for luxury of the pool access.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. The island is quiet and clean, this is what we really needed. Hotel staff is friendly. While breakfast is not cheap, it was very tasty.
