The bedroom was very stuffy and hot. It was an hour-long walk from town, so not super convenient. There were mosquitoes and some other bugs in my room.

I liked that the taxi was waiting for me at the airport to take me to my accommodation. I had a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe. Breakfast was very yummy. The shower room was nice. The owner was very helpful and helped arrange transportation.

Isi needs to have some annual leave!

Isi who manages the place is an amazing host. He is super friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, and very helpful in making arrangements for a great vacation in Tonga. Breakfast is good with nice fresh ground local coffee and fresh fruit always available.

The toilet downstairs, the water pressure wasn’t strong enough. Had to flush at least twice even if it’s just a tiny toilet paper inside

All the essentials - great for an overnight stop. 10 min taxi ride from town, about 20-30 mins from the airport depending on what time of day. Isi, the owner, is fantastic and goes above and beyond to help and make sure you are comfortable and happy

Homely, clean, comfortable beds. I arrived late and had to leave early and Isi, the owner, was incredibly accommodating - stayed up to let me in, up early with me to take me to the airport and make breakfast. He was welcoming and lovely. I’m going to book again!

- Communication before my arrival could have been better. I had requested help with a day tour, but the answer I received was that I could speak to my airport transfer driver about this when he picked me up. I requested the driver's contact information and was ignored. Fortunately, the driver's prices were reasonable and we had a good day. - It is about a 45 minute walk to downtown. This wasn't an issue for me, but it was a bit longer than expected. - Both showers were surprisingly awful as the rest of the facilities were good.

- Extremely kind staff who waited up very late to accommodate my flight - Excellent breakfast with eggs, fruit, coffee, etc. Coffee, tea, and water were available 24/7. - Clean room with working wi-fi. The lodge itself is very comfortable and clean.

Very comfortable to stay. I know the reviews say a lot about the host Isi already, and tbh he went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. Friendly and welcoming. Thank you Isi. Breakfast was included in the price and I tell you, it was the best, fresh and the best of island tropical fruits. Beautiful place to stay and would recommend for families.

Some issues with the Wi-Fi and street noise can be quite loud in the front rooms.

The manager is extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Very clean, fairly priced and welcoming place.

While it didn't bother me personally (as I like walking), the town centre of Nuku'alofa is a bit far away and for some may be an issue. But in all honesty outside of a few cafes and shopping not a lot to do down there so it isn't that big of a deal, plus taxis are pretty cheap as well.

Great spot to spend some time in Nuku'alofa. I had to extend my stay by two nights as flights and ferries in Tonga are pretty unreliable but really glad I stayed here. Breakfast was nice and substantial, there was coffee available all the time, hot showers, very clean property, and my room felt pretty cool during the evening that I didn't need a fan on. Isi is also a great character that knows a lot about the local tourism and you can even rent his bike off of him (which I think is the best way to see Tongatapu). There's also a decent shop next door and a few take away options nearby. The house has a fully equipped kitchen as well.

The pillows were not very comfortable and did not end up getting a double bed and single bed, but two single beds. Not a major issue though.
