Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Arab EmiratesNO AC!!!!!! Although I paid extra for it.. they claim it is because of corona pandemic they had to switch off all AC!!! Such a very bad excuse! In fact, there was no AC installed in the room at all!. Very small reception hall.. actually it is not a hall it is just maybe a 3×1.5 meters corridor! So imagine waiting for check in or out while people are pushing you aside to get in or out of the very small elevator. Room curtains are not securing 100% from outsiders or from sunlight. Furniture is very low level. Bathroom as well so. NO hot water for shower. You have to have shower with cold water! Wifi never ever worked for me.. I used my data package all the time.
Breakfast was within expectations as an average of turkey hotels. No hot food except boiled eggs. Location. One trainee male young guy in the reception helped in English translation at the time of check in.

ItalyStaying in this hotel was one of the worst experiences of my life. Unfortunately, I booked the room for 7 days and while I was there, they didn't clean my room, even once -The smell of the toilet was excruciating and entered the room. the whole place smelled like sewage. -I was there during a cold season, they would not turn on the heat till 20:008 PM and they turn off the heat by 6 AM, it was extremely cold. (let alone the first three nights of my stay the heat was broken!!) -breakfast was below the expectation. -No matter how much you complain to the receptionist, they won't do anything, maybe because they don't understand English! -I woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of cigarettes in my room and it happened continuously! The list goes on and on...

GermanyI arrived at 11:30 pm as it was mentioned already at the time of my booking via Booking.com but the Reception said the room you have booked is not available although it was confirmed by the hotel. We can give you another room with the higher price. As it was mid night so I had to pay the higher price for the very low quality room. Therefore I do not recommend this hotel and I will not use Booking.com too.

Turkeynoisy environment, depending on the guests next door, so better bring some earplugs. the cheapest budget rooms have no window and rather poor ventilation - only a small gap between door and floor seems to be helping with that. the placement of the power sockets is not very practical. the shower pressure is not very strong for hot water and the shower head was half-broken.
convenient location not far from metro stations, central bus and train stations, in the kızılay area. good value for the price, as described, including breakfast. suitable for singles or couples, perfect for some days in Ankara if you are traveling on a budget.

SloveniaI dont know where to start even. Firstly, the receptionist offered us one room that was unspeakably dirty (black shoe steps on the bad sheets) and we couldn't open the window so we went down and said that we want another room. The receptionist said that this was the last available, as we started to search for another hotel he offered a different room. I understand that this is part of the play, but I prefer honesty to this behavior. Since I am aware that the hotel is cheap I was not expecting modernity or fake hospitality, but at least for the money, I have paid, it could be clean. The other room was a tiny bit better but still dirty. Just everything was wrong and there was no towel.
The cleaning lady was super nice and since this is a big hotel, they should not save on cleaning service. The breakfast was great and the restaurant had a wonderful city view.
