Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomAlthough I had a good stay and enjoyed whilst I was there there were several things that annoyed me a bit. 1- staff did not speak English at all, I didn’t expect to have a full English conversation but at least something more. I couldn’t even book or ask anything properly to the point I just gave up. 2- staff in the reception could be friendlier, not very welcoming, bar/restaurant staff was a lot more friendlier. And when you check in, no information or the ones given is very poor, you have to find out a lot of the things yourself. That links back to the lack of English speaking I think . 3- Restaurant has no signage on what you are eating, you don’t know what things are, and when you ask they can barely tell you what it is. food was the same everyday but it was very good and fresh. If you have any food allergies I would not recommend. Breakfast was great fresh omelet and all types of cheese 4- booked vip private transfer through the hotel, and it was a bit stressful to be found in the airport as driver was not there holding a sign with my name as I was told he would. To be picked up to return driver was late but hotel helped calling the company 5am to check where driver was as he was 30 min late. 5- I felt we were the only ones in the entire hotel that didn’t smoke, maybe two or three more IF that. So it was a constant smoking all around EVERYWHERE. In my own balcony I could smell cigarettes smoke from all directions. At the dinning I had to sit inside even when it was hot, to try and eat without the smell of people smoking. 6- music by the pool was the same 10 songs ALL DAY LONG, maybe make a long playlist and give to the staff to play at the pool bar. 7- Hotel is very prepared for Germans and Russians only feels like. Overall was good, staff that understood my questions and were great were Cinhan, Gül and Ramazan.
Room we stayed had an amazing view we had our privet pool and balcony, pool areas were amazing and the food was very fresh.

Netherlands1) Communication barrier with staff, majority only speak Turkish or German, which make difficult the communication. 2) At the restaurant, the dishes didn't have any description and the ingredients were not mentioned. When asked the staff what was it, they just smiled and said "good", since they didn't speak English. In case of any dietary requirements, it's difficult to understand if it is fish, meat, nuts, or anything else. 3) Meal times were only posted on a board in the restaurant, which meant that we almost missed our first breakfast time.
The hotel was quiet, rooms moderns and well decorated. The employees were nice, they made an effort to communicate, but the majority of them didn't speak English.

SwedenThe bathroom was old and bad and needs to be repaired. One of the restaurant staff named Mehmet was very rude and unfriendly and was not welcoming and he gave us the feeling that we were not welcome in the hotel. The variety of food for me, who is a vegetarian, was very little and the food had no labels.
The hotel has good manager. Some staffs were so professional and welcoming. Specially Cihan worked non-stop and energetically and was always full of positive energy with a friendly smile and made all the guests feel special, he was one of important reasons we had so good time and he made the travel so unforgettable for us.

PortugalAlthough the food service by the end of the stay was much much better (we believe the kitchen staff was changed at that point), in the initial few days is was below par to put it mildly. Also, it’s far from everything which is good if you wish to Be isolated from the world but if you fancy a night out or dinner outside every now and then, then take another pick.
The facilities are very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay! Our room had an awesome seaview and a nice pool To chill on - we definitely recommend the premium rooms!

SwitzerlandThe pool of the Deluxe Room is only 40cm deep, so when you sit in it, only your legs are in the water. But the room is exactly like shown in the pictures (shared garden) The hotel is far away from the city, but luckily there are busses that bring you to Manavgat in about 25 mins. Wifi had to be reset every day from the reception and wasn't very stable. You get only one room key card and also towel cards, but the towels are a bit small for an average adult.
Nice view to the ocean (from room, restaurant, and pool). In general, the hotel and its guests are very calm (mostly individual couples), so it meets your expectations from an adult only hotel. Compared to other similar hotels in the area (regarding facilities and design), this looks like the best choice. The main dishes changes every day and the cook is a nice and funny guy. The variety was not huge, but the food was food. You don't get food between 5-7pm and not after 9pm there ia only soup until midnight. This could been increased. Unfortunately there is no ice cream, so if you want some, you need to buy it from the store at the end of the alley. The reception guy was very friendly!

IsraelInstead of not liking I rather mention small things needing attention that would make future guests’s stay AMAZING: - Pillows: there was only one per guest- there should be 2. - Blanket: should be a duvet or at least a soft one and not a rough one like there was. - Level of English: even though the staff was so nice and helpful, they did not speak good English at all- it wasn’t easy communicating at some point. The walls were so thin we could here our neighbors conversations clearly- not to mention other things we didn’t want to hear.
The service was phenomenal, the spa was great, super professional Turkish Hamam. They were so nice giving us special attention as a newly engaged couple- arranged flowers on our bed, fruit basket, roses on our dinner table, that was so nice of them. Most of the food was good, but I guess that’s how it is in an all inclusive. The pool area and the beach are well equipped with good sun beds and umbrellas.

United KingdomLack of evening entertainment - meant for early nights most evenings! Mostly Russian & German guests (so most music wasn’t known to Brits) Gaps in the all inclusive food offerings Heard of at least 4 bookings where they didn’t get their room on the 1st night due to overbooking and had to stay at a sub-standard hotel further down. no refunds offered. We did not experience this with our booking, but seemed poor show to overbook rooms.
Exceptionally clean throughout Amazing views, especially from Deluxe Double rooms Good food selection Small complex (60 rooms) meaning it never felt busy even when full Friendly staff

United Kingdomlocation, there is nothing around this hotel at all. it is in the middle of a motorway. We were also mis sold information about the hotel as A lot of facilities were not available for us! The hotel had double booked our room so we couldn’t have the private pool room we had reserved straight away. The food is very average and repetitive. No breakfast in bed or room service either. Minimal choice on alcoholic beverages.
stunning room with a private pool / sea view. Hotel is on the beach so you can have the best of both worlds. Staff very polite & kind.

Canadathe bed quilts are small, not enough to cover two people. and since we came early season it was quit chilly, the bed setting was not meant for cold.
Cozy hotel, several options of room choices and all of them seemed very nice. The suites are especially gorgeous, complete with large, sea view terraces or pools. We came at the beginning of the season, it was very quiet and felt private. I must say it took us a day to slow down from big city life, but at the end we didn’t wanna leave. On a beach there are cabanas where you can snuggle with ur honey or sprawl out on a pool chair near the infinity pool. Its mainly Turkish cuisine at the buffet, don’t expect anything fancy. The hotel is well maintained and service is quite good, can get everything on demand. Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back here.

United KingdomAs non smokers we found it hard being frequently surrounded by heavy smokers. Worst was in the restaurant. They have 2 areas inside and outside under shade. The latter would have been preferable but for us and many other guests totally intolerable being surrounded by smokers whilst eating. Because there was no wind the smoke hung heavily under the canopy as a result we took all meals inside which was very hot. Most times we managed to get a table by the open window which did create the sense of being outside. For us if a separate smoking area either away from the restaurant or the outdoor area is split to accommodate smokers/ non smokers be created then that would be perfect. Also we had a Kingsuite Jacuzzi room, absolutely incredible but halfway through our stay chain smoking guests moved in down below and their smoke drifted up onto our balcony and into the bedroom making it unpleasant to sit and relax on the balcony and resulting in us keeping the wi dow shut and air-conditioning on instead. A couple of cigarettes occasionally would've been OK but constantly was intolerable, so much so we were moved to another room and had no problems. Just a note to other potential guests. There are NO sunloungers on the balconies of the King suites. Photos and room descriptions would suggest there are . The balconies are about 4 meters x 2 metres. The Photos showing them are an architect's impression and not reality. On arrival I was initially disappointed by this but I was ultimately very satisfied with what we had. The hanging egg chair is soooooo comfortable
Loved the appearance of the hotel and rooms exceptionally clean , loved being right on the beach, hearing the waves, sitting on the terrace in the morning with a cup of tea and G &T in the evening. The view is to die for. Pay the extra for the sea view. The staff were incredible, very professional eager to please. Food was delicious. It was a buffet but Turkish food, exceptional quality and variation. Umpteen vegetarian dishes. Quality alchol, all named spirits such as Absolut Vodka, Gilbey's Gin. Good selection of cocktails. It is a very small quiet hotel, fabulous for being adult only. There's no night life as such, just sit back and gaze at the stars. If you like night clubs, bars variety of entertainment then this is not for you. The bars close at midnight and then the whole hotel goes to sleep fantastic. This is a 4 * hotel, does not have the slickness that the other super class hotels have but it has absolute charm and the owners, who are there daily really do care about the place and want enjoyment for their guests. It is difficult to leave the property as it is about 20 kms from Side. A taxi ride takes about 15 minutes but is 30 euros each way. There's a bus service at the top of the road, 5 minute walk away. We were quite happy to stay, relax on the beach and read

ItalyThe atmosphere was dead, it was so quiet it was awkward. Even though it was fully booked... the location is terrible, literally in the middle of nowhere on the edge of the highway... the beach isn't nice, pebbly beach and merky sea...The buffet was awful and sat out in a very hot room with no Aircon, flies all over the food. The staff are incredibly rude and aggressive. And discriminatory to same sex couples!
The room was beautiful, apart from the toilet cubicles... No privacy, like being in a public bathroom.. definitely not what you want in a romantic hotel!

DenmarkDuring our stay at your hotel, we encountered a few drawbacks that we would like to address. Firstly, the cleanliness of our room was subpar. There was a noticeable accumulation of dust under the bed and lamps, and it seemed that overall cleaning was insufficient. Furthermore, we experienced an issue with the hotel staff regarding communication. A man approached us without introducing himself, pressuring us to use the hamam and get a massage despite our lack of interest. We reluctantly agreed, but later canceled the reservation. We promptly informed the reception about the cancellation. However, the next day, a person wearing glasses called us in a cold tone, asking if we had an appointment. We explained that we had canceled it the previous day, to which he responded with a dismissive "At least you could have informed us!" before abruptly ending the call without any further courtesy. Another concern was the reservation of preferred seating by the hotel owner. It was offensive to see the owner reserving the best seats with a view for themselves. This practice created a sense of unfairness and favored treatment, which is not in line with our expectations as guests. These incidents left us feeling disappointed and dissatisfied. We believe that in a hotel that aims to provide excellent service, such occurrences should not happen. On a positive note, we appreciated the location of the hotel with a near beach. Additionally, some members of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, which was a positive aspect of our experience. In conclusion, we recommend that you review and address the cleanliness standards, communication skills, and fairness in seat reservations within your hotel. It is crucial to prioritize guest satisfaction and ensure that all guests are treated with respect, cleanliness standards are met, and fairness is maintained.
