Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We got off to a good start in this beautiful hotel when we got a free room upgrade! We had an amazing three nights in Selçuk in this cosy boutique hotel. The staff were helpful , knowledgeable and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for evening meals but directed us to some excellent restaurants nearby. The beds were supremely comfortable and the room was airy and bright. Reception organised a wonderful tour for us to nearby Ephesus.

Absolutely beautiful property. A haven after a day of sightseeing to unwind and avail of the hospitality. We were upgraded and the Manager, Soner could not have been more helpful and attentive. The breakfast was true Turkish style with a selection of freshly cooked eggs in various styles. A small boutique hotel with every attention to detail. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

United KingdomThis is a beautiful and comfortable boutique hotel, owned and run by the nicest people. It is stylish without being overly precious. Look out for the beautiful textiles used in the decor, some from Muharrem’s parents’ collection. Our room was comfortably appointed, with good quality bed linen. Breakfast is a wonderful, typically Turkish spread with all manner of fruit, greens, cheeses, olives, breads and preserves. Tea and coffee are always available, as is fresh homemade cake. Soner and Muharrem gave us good tips on where to eat, and were just very welcoming and hospitable generally. Selçuk itself is a charming little place, good to explore on foot. So glad we stayed here, and not in resort-y Kusadasi, although we did go there for an excellent meal and beautiful sunset one evening.

AustraliaAll good
Fantastic property. The attention to detail is outstanding. Muharrem takes care of everything. They offer beer and wine service, individual containers for breakfast items. Fastidiously clean. They arranged a private tour and since we had a car saved 80% off the listed price. The property has wonderful views over the rooftops by the pool. We would definitely stay here again.

United StatesThere was nothing that I didn’t like. I was traveling with family. They were in adjacent rooms and they were also very pleased.
The property was beautiful and calm. Felt like we were in sanctuary with a pleasant courtyard with a swimming pool and a view overlooking the city. The city was not skyscrapers but red tiled roofs and palm trees. We opted to have breakfast included and it was a wonderful non American breakfast. There were egg choices, a variety of cheeses and yogurt and bread, as well as fruit. They offered American coffee as well as Turkish coffee and tea. They also kept cake on a cake platter so if you wanted a slice in the afternoon, you could easily get an afternoon snack. Also beverages were served in the courtyard by the pool, if you desired. Options included coffee, tea, wine and beer.

DenmarkI wish they served food in the evening! That's probably my only qualm. But we were recommended a place that was local.
Everything! It was very cute, and a really nice place to stay! I'm glad we chose this place, it was very close to Ephesus. The staff were very friendly, the room was lovely, the courtyard and breakfast area were also great! Nice large bed and the breakfast was delicious! They also had an area with coffee and traditional cake which was nice. I would definitely stay there again, and I recommend it I'd if you are a couple and looking for something rustic and traditional but modern.

This property deserves 10 stars 🤩🤩 From start to finish they catered to our every need and made sure everything was to our liking. No ask was too big or too small. The property management takes pride in their work and it shows. Thank you so much to Soner and Muharrem for your hospitality and making us feel like family. We truly enjoyed your amazing property. Situated on a quiet local street away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to local attractions, this gem of a property is the best place to stay if you value peaceful evenings and mornings but want to be close enough to the ephesus ruins. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast served daily with fresh eggs made to order was tasty, and we appreciated the afternoon/evening tea/coffee service with local fresh baked goods. The outdoor courtyard felt like our own private oasis, complete with chirping birds, blooming trees and flowers and peaceful music to welcome us every evening after our tours. They went above and beyond every day that we were there and asked if there was anything they could do to improve our stay on a daily basis. We were never lacking in anything. They even gave us passes for our tours so that we could enter the ruins and the many museums of the wonderful city. Once again, thank you all so much. We look forward to spending another stay with you soon!

The hotel is very well-located with a view of the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and within walking distance of Ephesus ancient city.
