They should improve the maintenance of the rooms a bit more ( stains in walls and need a fresh coat of paint) and make some improvements in the bathroom ( dark and extremely old )

My room window/door near the balcony cannot properly closed, some noise from the road can be heard from inside. Especially the road in front of the hotel are quiet a busy one. Hope they can fix that thing.

Good location is main reason for this hotel will attract people. Walking distance from the metro. Breakfast is okay. It has a classic/retro vibe for the lift which enough for 3-4 people without luggage. With that price, im glad there is a lift also. Thr room I stayed was ok and clean, no smoke smell or anything. Beds are comfy.

İnternet was not working in the room. I had to go out to the corridor. The corridor was not very clean. No idea why but for all day long plates with eaten orderes food for a guest were not taken away. And it started stinking.

Location. Helpful staff. Price. Working facilities (TV, hairdryer, shower, air conditioner. Good breakfast. Offices of bus agencies were nearby. Very comfy for those who live Izmir by bus.

We book 2 days (same week but separated by some days), for the first one they assign to us (a marriage) 2 tween beds when I explicitly ask for a matrimonial bed. For the second day I resend the request and the room was with a matrimonial bed as re-requested

I love the staffs and the location of the hotel was good because its closer to almost everywhere. Train and Metro stations are very close as well as restaurants and cafes are nearby. And by the way the breakfast was good also.

The Alican is a downtown location and only 100 meters to the train station that takes you to Selchuk ( Ephesus). Lots of good and affordable food down the street. The staff was very helpful.

The hotel is well located, near from Konak and Alsancak and the sea (10 minutes walking). Easy to reach also, because near of the train station. Breakfast is the tipical Turkish breakfast, of course it was good. Staff was good also. I recommend, if I need to come back to Izmir and I need a hotel, I'll remember.

This hotel has building construction right next door my whole room was shaking from 9 am to lunch time then until 5pm concrete breakers and JCB diggers going hammer and tongs and guests should be told this before booking breakfast was very basic
