Room was quite dusty, though slippers were provided. Staircases to higher rooms were narrow, though in keeping with the cave hotel-like feel. Wifi worked only sporadically in ground-floor room and when it did, it was very weak. Wifi did work outside and in higher areas.

Cosy hotel, close to Urgup town centre. Rooms were large and warm enough with working TV and cave hotel-like features, and extra bed provided for son. Slippers provided too. Bathroom was large with jacuzzi, which worked well - my son lived it. Breakfast spread was good, with fries, etc, cooked fresh, and provided in room with a view. Staff were friendly and organised a taxi at short notice for us - turned out to be a "luxury" vehicle with a price to match. Located in quiet area, five mins walk from town centre.

There are no staff on site. We arrived early and and had to call for someone to check us in. On our first morning a guy arrived at 8.30 to start cooking breakfast. He came slightly earlier on subsequent mornings.

We stayed 5 nights. Our stone room was comfortable and full of character. We loved the views (including ballloons at dawn) from the rooftop terrace and breakfast room. Good breakfast if you get there when it's hot. Some minor quibbles but this is good value. It's a ten minute walk to central Urgup and choice of restaurants.

Location was excellent. Late check-in was accommodated without problem. The room was huge and whilst I understand the ‘mood’ lighting, it was difficult to read and do certain things as it was impossible to get enough light when needed. There was always hot water but the bathroom was otherwise average. The floor was always wet from a leak from the toilet and the side was hanging off the bath. There were few sockets, one of which was hanging out of the wall. Debris continually fell from the ceiling in all parts of the room, including onto the bed.

The rooms need a bit of maintenance, specially on the sockets, and the shower glass. My friends staying in the regular bedrooms felt the room was too hot at night and rooms have no AC (August)

I wish there was a fridge in the room.

the rooms are caves, it was comfy and nice. I had the suite and the jacuzzi had some troubles the first day but they immediately solved it. the breakfast was really really nice. For me the best of the best was the staff of the hotel: Ozgul the woman at breakfast time is the cutest woman you will meet, she will keep asking if you want anything more although the table is full of food. Mehmet and Celal are the receptionists and became my friends since they helped me solve my problem with my flights getting canceled 3 times due to weather conditions. they were really kind, they even took me on their own car to a restaurant because it was snowing so that I didn’t have cold! I hope next time I come to this hotel they will be here because they were the best of the best of this hotel.

There were nobody at the reception at any time. No basic aminities available in the room. No phone to the reception. No iron. No AC , so hot there and no fan or AC you have to sweet all night. No fridge. I have to carry 1/2 kg key with key ring as nobody at reception to recieve key. Also very bad breakfast. This hotel doesn’t have any staff.

It is a bit basic, but the warmth and the helpfulness of the staff made up for it. A cheaper alternative to some of the other cave hotels.

Ozgül the housekeeper was really lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Very humble people and kindly.

The best value for money accommodation in Turkey, by far. This hotel offers the complete Cappadocia experience, with a friendly and personal staff to boot. I will recommend anyone visiting Cappadocia to stay here.
