Dampness of the room. Understandably it’s built into rock, you are going to experience damp smell but if you are Staying more than 1 night it might get a bit much after a few days. If you have lung issues, maybe book one of the rooms above ground level. Low light and no windows. Maybe doesn’t look exactly like it does in the pics overall. Other than the room there’s not much else, no bar or restaurant. The staff try to be helpful. The woman who serve the breakie are awesome. Bake fresh every day. Heads up, It’s a bit hard organising tours as the English and organisation is not the best. Tip - Double check things are booked

King suite does not have a window, only one small one above the door. Poor soundproofing.

Very luxurious and spacious King Suite with a jacuzzi, also the double room was with a bath. Lovely rooftop terrace for balloon viewing. Comfortable and romantic interiors, lovely lighting. Warm recommendation if you want to stay in a cave hotel. There are some restaurants in the area although the location is not the most central.

The property was lovely! Had beautiful interior with all the utilities needed. The touch of a hot tub was great to relax in. The terrace and dining are also had a great view, sadly we couldn’t use this as much due to the poor weather. The staff were exceptional with their service, they went above and beyond. My husband went during Ramadan and were fasting and the lovely gentleman (forgot his name very sorry!) prepared our suhoor (meal at dawn to open the fast) at 4am each day of our stay despite breakfast being from 8-10am. They answered all our questions and helped us with the booking of our hot air balloon.

I liked everything, the room with the swimming pool inside and the hot tub, very relaxing. The location was good, because everything was there, all the activities we booked with Mehmet was all satisfying and we couldn't except better than that. Mehmet and his staff really helped us a lot with everything we needed during our stay. Excellent Hotel,. I really recommend.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The cave family room was amazing and very comfortable, and we also enjoyed the breakfast and the rooftop patio that has an incredible view. We booked a hot air balloon tour with them that we really enjoyed (with Anatolian Balloons, which we also highly recommend). The only things that could be improved was the leaking ceiling in the room (we know it's a cave, but still, having two bowls on the floor to collect the water is a little inconvenient) and the transfer service which, albeit not the hotel's fault, almost had us miss our flight (we arrived at the airport 1 hour 10 minutes before departure, while the driver stopped en route for gas, a coffee, etc). But all the services provided by the hotel were great, the location is very central and it is a quiet place. We would recommend it!

Great hotel, with super cozy rooms, very nice lighting in the room, a beautiful terrace to watch the balloons in the morning, very beautiful view from the cafe where the breakfast is served. Breakfast is delicious, staff is super friendly! We had a wonderful cave room with large jacuzzi, it was very warm inside, we even turned off the heating sometimes, although we stayed in December! Location is super good near all the restaurants in the center. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

There was a strange smell straight away on entry, we left the door open as our room had no windows but it didn't really make a difference. Discovered later it was coming from the sink so kept something covering the hole and the bathroom door closed which helped. I think drainage might be a general issue in Turkey? as we did have this issue in other cities too. We didn't notify the hotel as we were only there for one night and it wasn't a massive deal to us, I'm sure the staff would have helped in some way if they could. Our room (108?) was on the stairwell so quite noisy when people were entering and leaving the hotel or talking right outside the door. After a day of exploring we would knock out quite quickly so again not a massive issue but something to consider maybe if you are a light sleeper or can't stand background noise. We travelled at end of November and the cushions on the terrace were packed away for winter so it was bare (if you were considering photos whilst watching balloons maybe check as it seems season dependant).

The room was clean and comfy with a good mattress and a nice bath in the corner (didn't have time to use). Shower was large and the pressure was fine. Room was clearly new and nicely decorated with a TV and light up mirror. Staff friendly and checked us in early, no questions asked. For the price, this place was a good place to put our heads down and also set off for the day. We stayed in a more expensive place at the beginning of the week so we could feel the difference in small things like variety of breakfast and size of the room, but in Cappadocia it is clearly 'get what you pay for' experience which all depends on your own needs and budget. This place is definitely good if you're looking to save a bit on accommodation but still be in the centre of Gorme.
