There was not one thing we could say was wrong with The Anthemis Hotel. Perfect!

Fantastic central location. Lovely small but comfortable bedroom that was scrupulously clean. Outstanding staff. All very polite, friendly and helpful. Great rooftop breakfast perfectly catered by the wonderful Sinan.

Nothing, everything was great

Lovely hotel - very friendly and helpful staff. We were leaving early for a flight so they even prepared sandwiches for us with us missing breakfast. Great location, very accessible to everything. Quiet rooms, we couldn’t hear the call to prayer even though the mosques were really close by.

Room window faced another window. The balcony was not cleaned.

Cozy hotel in the heart of Istanbul. Only 1 minute away from the tram station, thus, it is easy to get to any part of the city from the property. Nevertheless, it is quite quiet in the night in the area even though it is a historical center. The room is small, though, comfortable. Every day cleaning did a good job. The breakfast was nice, the view of the breakfast terrace never disappointed. Below the property there is a restaurant that provides 20% discount for the hotel guests. The staff is friendly, you always feel welcomed. We ordered a transfer from IST airport to the property and everything was very well communicated and performed.

Hospitality is FIRST CLASS here. The staff are all so sweet and want you to have a great time. I booked the deluxe room and it was so comfortable. The king size bed was a delight. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel and they are a family business. You can get their meals sent up to your room. Reception only recommended tours that they know and trust and the taxi to and from the hotel made me feel like I was VIP. It's no taxi, it's your own lux van. Very nice stay and special thanks to Dogan at reception. He was honestly the best!!

The location was great. So many excellent restaurants nearby and an easy walk to most of the major attractions . Supermarkets were also close as was the tram The view from the breakfast area, of the Sea and Blue Mosque and the Agia Sophia were great. The food was also very good and varied and the staff very efficient .

There was nothing that was not absolutely perfect!

Excellent service and comfort!!! Every single person working there has been exceptionally helpful and nice to us from arrival to leave! Sinan, the breakfast Manager was ever so concerned all is well :) And also the people at reception were always giving advice, taking time to talk to us over tea or just a happy chat. They even offered to have our postcards taken to the post office to help us out :) The location of the hotel could not be more central: 2min walk to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosc and cistern, only 9min to the basar! And the tram stops 1min from the hotel! For a short stay this is the place you want to book!!! :) did I mention the views from the breakfast terrace give you goose bumps? ;)

The bathroom had some bad smell from the canalisations in the morning. It wasn’t ideal, we had to leave the light on to keep the vent ON to reduce the smell.

The hotel was well located. It was easy to walk to different places and access the tram that could lead anywhere. The breakfast was incredible. And the staff really nice and answered all our questions and needs The view from the breakfast room is incredible!!

The central AC was a little too warm for us, but we could sleep with the balcony door open. The breakfast was okay.

This hotel is beautiful and very well situated. It’s close to restaurants and public transport. Our view was spectacular. Every staff member from the desk to housekeeping had a smile on their face and was so helpful.

The only down side was the view from the room we were face with an other hotel and no daylight

The hotel was near everything perfect location ! And the staff were really nice The view for breakfast was beautiful ! We also took the airport shuttle it was not expensive and perfect to go to the airport.
