Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South AfricaThe hotel is neat as a pin and clean with good water pressure. Our room had a mini fridge which was great for keeping cold water available and the hotel provided water on arrival, which was much needed. There is a lovely beach right outside and a sparkling swimming pool on the grounds. Breakfast was a good selection of quality items. The staff are friendly, helpful and easily available.

First of all, I'd like to thank the nice staff of the hotel for keeping the things I forgot in the room! The location is excellent - the bar section and the sea are just behind the corner, yet the hotel is very quiet. Also great attention to detail when it comes to the building and the furniture.

Really close to the action, but just enough away to be quiet. Super friendly staff, although not fluent in English, google translate saved the day

AustraliaUpon entering my room, there were no towels or hygiene (soap, shampoo, etc) products at all. These were quickly provided when asked. Secondly, although the bed was made up, I found multiple strands of hair in the bed. This was also promptly changed when raised. These are basic things that should be expected from such a nice place but I was advised given it is the off season the hotel was short staffed.
The location was second to none. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. There is a nice area for breakfast in the mornings and a small dipping pool.

UkraineThe service from the hotel was dreadful and I found the attitude of the staff absolutely disgusting. Tried to resolve an issue we had and the hotel showed zero willingness to correct the problem. Happy to take your money. Spoke English ok one minute then once we raised the issue they acted like they couldn't speak English any more.
Nothing to like. Management had no consideration whatsoever. Terrible experience
