Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyNothing all perfect
Very nice family hotel. Friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast was prepared by the mother herself in the very early morning. So plenty and tasty. Location of Hotel is super perfect with an overview over the whole village, harbour, and seaside. You can easily walk to the village. Our room was big, modern, full of light and clean.

United KingdomNothing, all was great.
Great place to stay in Kas. Located away from the louder, noisier area, so a nice quiet retreat. Staff were super friendly, made the stay really nice. Fabulous views from our room, great to watch the sunset. Fantastic breakfast as well, really sets you up for the day! Only a 5 minute walk the centre of Kas, it is steep on the way back but no issue at all.

United KingdomThat I couldn't stay longer.
My stay at Aysima Hotel in Kas, Turkey was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the lovely family running the hotel. Their genuine care made me feel instantly at home. The breakfast spread was simply amazing, offering a delightful array of local delicacies that left me looking forward to each morning. The hospitality extended beyond meals, with the family always available to assist and ensure my stay was comfortable. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the breathtaking views from the hotel. Waking up to the serene vistas of Kas was a treat for the senses and added an extra layer of magic to the experience. Cleanliness is paramount to me when traveling, and I was thoroughly impressed by the spotless condition of the hotel. It's evident that the family takes great pride in maintaining their establishment to the highest standards. What pleasantly surprised me was the incredible value for money. The price I paid was extremely reasonable considering the exceptional service, delicious breakfasts, immaculate cleanliness, and the mesmerizing views offered by the hotel. Overall, my time at Aysima Hotel was unforgettable, thanks to the genuine warmth of the family, the delicious breakfasts, impeccable cleanliness, mesmerizing views, and the incredible value for money. I highly recommend this charming family-run hotel to anyone visiting Kas.

RussiaOn the last day of our stay at the hotel, our neighbors changed, this spoiled the impression greatly... they smoked on the balcony all the time! we tried to enjoy the sunset on the balcony, on the next balcony our neighbors also watched the sunset and smoked incessantly((After dinner we couldn’t sit on the balcony for the same reason. There are no questions about the hotel itself, rather the human factor. But if this had happened from the first day, it would be very unpleasant.
I liked the hI liked the hotel itself and the room, the staff, the location (quiet)otel itself and the room, the staff, the location (quiet). Breakfast was simply amazing! Enjoyed the food and beautiful views every morning!

The penthouse was basically a brand new serviced apartment with great amenities, a beautiful terrace and lots of privacy. But it’s run by the family B&B which gives it a great personal atmosphere.

United KingdomA beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with incredible elevated views over Kas and the sea. We loved the breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and so many other tasty choices . We really appreciated how hard the family work to make sure you have the most enjoyable time. The Dolmus (mini bus) can be picked up at the front of the hotel and within 5 minutes you’re at the beach. It’s a 5 minute walk to the centre of Kas so we found this hotel the perfect location.

AustraliaThis is not a negative as such, but for those who are unable to or don't like walking up some steps or inclines from the main town then maybe this is not for you. If you have a hire car/scooter or use taxis then this wont be an issue. It didn't worry us too much.
If I could give this place and the family that runs it an eleventh star I would. Our room was well appointed, very comfortable and clean and we had a great little balcony with fantastic views over the town of Kas and the Med. Perfect for an evening drink as you watch the gorgeous sunsets. The buffet breakfast that they make fresh each morning is so good and we really looked forward to it each day. They have a great pool as well that we used several times. But as mentioned earlier the stars of this hotel are the family that run it. They just couldn't do enough for us to ensure that our stay was an enjoyable experience.
