Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaBetter aeration needed although our front facing balcony door opened and allowed for a breeze. WIFI reception could be better but it could be a Istanbul city-wide problem on which the hotel depends but cannot control.
The Best Town Hotel is, bar none, the perfect location from which to explore ALL of historic Istanbul. Must-see sites and excursions on water are all within walking distance. The best, though, was the staff! Ali and Yiğit were attentive and most helpful. They answered our queries quickly and effectively. And all with a smile. We are demanding guests and only have praise for the polite, kind attention received. Amenities are more than adequate: clean, comfortable beds, lots of hot water, towels galore. Perfect.

NetherlandsFor short visit to see historical heart of Istanbul the location can't be better: tram 1 and Marmaray station just around the corner, the ferry to sail up the Bosphorus and Golden Horn is close by. A lot of shops and restaurants around. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast is great with a huge variety of meat, cheesу, vedg and sweets. Some technical issues in our room didn't bother us due to our short stay and low price in this time of the year.

RomaniaThe fact that the bathroom doorknob was broken and you coudn't open the door from inside, this didn't change even I announced the staff. This was my second time here but the first one was better.
The hotel is close to Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia ( aprox 15 min walk ). There are also close tram, bus and metro stops. The breakfast is almost the same everyday and it is not very diverse.
