Excellent hotel, in a very good location in the city centre. The accomodation was very pleasant. I only have nice things to say about the staff, especially Aslan, the receptionist who was very helpful and extremely kind.

In the washroom there was wash basin and also pink hand soap. The cup was covered by pink hand soap. Sometimes we hear sound of tram (actually I enjoyed it even if it’s little bit noisy for someone else).

It was really close to Sirkeci station. There were so many kind of shops near the hotel, so we could enjoy shopping. The staffs were really helpful.

I am not complaining, but we asked for Iron, but it was against their rules to give Iron for the customers.

The Staff were very courteous. They always greeted us and gave us all we wanted. They even had a weighing machine in the lobby that was helpful to check our baggage weights before we left for the airport. There was cleaning every day. Toilets were spotless and beds were comfortable.

The staff were so helpful. They even walked us down to the train station to help us buy tickets. The location is unbeatable, the room a good size and very quiet even tho on a tram line, and the hotel even provided a fruit basket.

Not really negative points here. The drain of the shower was slow, so you better don't spend much time in there. But that's not significant for me. The Hotel is situated on a busy street. If you like it very quiet you may choose a hotel more outside of the old town (They gave us a room not on the streetside when we ask). There is no breakfast offer if that's important for you, but considering the size of the hotel this is understandable. You can do a few steps on the street and there is food everywhere.

We looked out for a fair priced Hotel situated in the touristic heart of Istanbul and after reading some comments we booked at Hotel Brako. From the Airport you can go there really easy by bus and tramway. You can reach the most famous sights within a few minutes by feet. But also a Tramway Station ist nearby and the Ferry to the Asian side is reachable in a few minutes. The rooms are quiet comfortable and clean, nothing special. You have what you need for a short city trip. There was free drinking water every day. Where the Hotel shines ist the Staff. They were excelent. Before the start of the trip they contacted me and asked if i have some questions or wishes. During our visit they had always good and uncomplicated advice if asked and they helped if possible. They even noticed the birthday of my partner :)

The attention was great, very friendly and they helped us with everything we needed. A great place to come back and is localed 10 to 15 minutes (walking distance) to the the main mosques and basílica cistern.

Ask me what I didn't I like ? There is nothing not to like .... everything was excellent from friendly stuff with all their help of where's the attraction in the city all was perfect. The location is one of the best close to everywhere . We really enjoyed it, and definitely, and for sure, we'll be back to Istanbul. I'll stay at BARAKO HOTEL because it's worth it with their hospitality and kindness.

One of the best service you can imagine with a great view from the windows. The owner welcomed us with a big simile and very responsive in communication. Also I was very moved that they borrowed me cash for the taxi fee when my credit card didn’t work and didn’t have enough cash in place to pay for the taxi ride. In addition, the little farewell gifts from the hotel topped their services for us.

The most important about the property is the staff in the hotel , the most pleasant, professional and nice people I ever seen in hotels. Very helpful, caring , they did our stay so pleasant, safe and comfortable.

The location of the hotel is outstanding, near all the most important “ must see in Istanbul “ places., just 15 minutes walk. The tramway and metro right there, never used, just walked.

Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff. While leaving we were offered a free breakfast or sandwiches which helped us a lot as we grabbed sandwiches and were not hungry during waiting for our flight at the airport.

Well, it is not about don't like, but as you know Istanbul is a loudy and noisy city. As the hotel is in the middle of very central location, you must expect loud and noise from the street and the tram that pass the street where the hotel located. So, if you are sensitive for loud and noise, you need to reconsider that. It is not a hotel issue, but it is Istanbul. Also inside the room, the control panal which control the mode of the room like, no disturb or clean. Irs issue that it is shine like a lazer at night which make me not be able to sleep well. Also the flash light for card plugin as well. I guess this could be improve. Also, douple galze glass for windows could be very useful to reduce noise.

I like the stuff, they were very nice and helpful. Also they are happy to help when you need it. The locatios is great as it is in the center of Istanbul and close to all the attractions. It is close to the transportation as well.
