How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

- no foot towel available on 2 first nights of my stay - no soap on the first night of my stay - shower heard holder was broken - thought it was a sea view but it was another building view
The location..easy to walk to everywhere - price is right for the quality - breakfast was great

Towel and duvet ( mattress) should be changed i remember last night it’s very cold and duvet to short ! This my suggestion

Only problem I have is with car parking lot, because it's really dense and sometimes person who parks the cars is not carefull with them. Besides, I would suggest to renovate tables in the rooms. Additionally, even though there is heating system, it's a bit cold in the rooms, supposedly due to windows. Breakfast also can be improved quality wise.
Location is quite good, literally 2 steps away from Trabzon Meydan. Rooms are nice. I stayed in the hotel for 2 times with my family, had booked several rooms for both travels and everytime hotel staff provided me with much bigger rooms. Staff is very welcoming.

The room floors could have been cleaned better, but bedibg was good. Staff in reception not very helpfull and kind of rude.

The staff, at least those I was talking to, spoke very basic English. There is no reserved hotel parking - the hotel has a garage, but it is full of rental cars. The beds were pretty hard. Despite the breakfast having many options, the drinks offered were terrible - you could choose between orange juice full of aspartam and water full of chlorine.
The location is nice, 10 minutes walk to Meydan and maximum half an hour to Ortahisar. The room was nice and clean.

Very thin walls and noisy, should put "quiet hours" so people don't make noise in the middle of the night, add do not disturb signs in the rooms.
Good location, breakfast with a good view, staff taking care of car parking and overall nice and helpful staff.

No bidet. No view.
The location was close to the city center. There is a bus and taxi transportation nearby. The lobby area was clean. The staff Mohammed, Mahmood & Abdullah were great. Very good service. The tour to uzangoul was great. The breakfast was good. The room was cleaned during my stay. The weather was cold, but the heater was working. The shower area was good. In general, the room was great for my need. I slept well and enjoyed my stay.

The building is old. Sound comes from rooms to other rooms. There is very little variety at breakfast.
The hotel is located in the city center. We booked in November for February. When they arrived at the hotel, they did not give the room indicated in the Booking. The room was very small and didn't even have a wardrobe. We protested and they changed the room. The staff was friendly, they clean the rooms every day. We didn't like the breakfast.

Good location, close to the square. Clean and friendly helpful staff, especially Mohammed, who helped us arrange all our tours for us. Breakfast was good, though it lacked more verity. Will book again if I'm in Trabzon. Good value for money.

In the future we should check with the hotel if they cater for universities athletes, we did not like it. It was crowded and chaotic. During breakfast they acted like monsters. They also stared at us as if we did anything wrong, and they were very territorial, although the hotel was for every paying guest, not just them. The bathroom was wet and cold. There was no auto-closing room door, as well as sound proofing. The use of paper cups was fine, but not very good. Also, dining room staff during breakfast answered his phone and spoke loudly during service. I have worked in a hotel service before and never have I ever seen and done such lousy attitude. I guess the service training was not the same.
Staff was good! Especially Muhammad and Abdullah, very friendly and attentive. They assisted us with tours and airport pick up. Breakfast was good enough. Location and view was great. We did have proper sleep, with those plush pillows and bed.

Waiters at the restaurant were very helpful, but hard to communicate with them as they don’t speak or understand English However we managed to communicate using google translator

The experience was very comfortable , very close location to both the sea and Maydan square , market . Very nice staff and responsive , good variety breakfast . They offer car renting service , you will need this for your trips to Aidar or Uzongol areas , Mr Mahmoud was very cooperative, polite , guiding me with info ..
