Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Quitecomfort
NetherlandsI can't say any critical disadvantages. Just an improvement for the future; * Double bed was separate two beds. It could have been comfortable to sleep in a big double bed, as we booked the room like that way * For some daily TV events, like a football match, there wasn't any special arrangement. However, I can't say it is needed; we watched it in the lobby. Most importantly, having a big-screen TV will be really cool for this kind of event. We had to watch the Netherlands-Turkey match on a small screen. * Only one elevator exists for each building, so you might need to wait for the elevator. However, that waiting never took more than 20 seconds. * Just a preference: I wish to had areas more than 2 meters deep in the swimming pool. However, maybe, it can be because of regulations they can't make deep pools.
* Beautiful Sea View. * Beachfront has enough space for everyone to stay under the shadow protection. * Nice and kind staff. * Quality vs. Price balance is good. * Most alcoholic drinks are also included in the all-inclusive, which is cool because it is not the case for some hotels. * Local tastes (Turkish coffee), ice-cream are included in the all-inclusive. * Fridge always refreshed with drinks every day (Included in the all-inclusive), no extra payments needed. * Big swimming pool.

Croatia- crew knows Russian and German better then English, and sometimes is really hard to understand or communicate - sweets are really disappointing - looking great but all the same taste - I expected more from Turkey on that field - sweepers around the pool will pick up and throw everything you leave on the table, even if you are still drinking or eating something (you turn around and they already threw it). it is really to much, they will pick up your plate with your last bite still in your mouth... it is an easy fix guys :) - you need to do something with a "reservation" of sunbeds around the pool... in 8 am there is no single free and there is no one around the pool... also people reserve sunbeds on the beach and on the pool so it is a double reservation problem also...
I often read reviews before I book, so I will try to summarize one week stay at the hotel: - overall look of the hotel is really nice - it is not a European 5 star hotel, but that is expected - lobby is really nice - Insta pics nice :) - it is a full all-inclusive service, really you don't need to pay for anything (note:: cocktails are syrup-based as expected) - food is diverse, there is different "special" offers every day - service is so-so... there are great guys, but overall they look like they don't want to do that job. I understand that there is a lot of people and work, but the guest doesn't like to see or feel unsatisfied employees - you must go to the Turkish bath and spa - that experience is a must! - ask for Ali Baba, he is Pro ;) - hotel is constantly being cleaned - animation crew is fantastic - there are diverse programs for all ages - special kudos to Tuna - night program is really great - pool is really clean and the beach is great, clean, warm sea - 500 meters from hotel is big bazzar - minibar is free of charge and refilled - safe in the room is free - WiFi is free in the whole property

United KingdomWe booked this hotel due to the kids club facilities. So I think that if the kids club is advertised then if it is NOT going to be running for the majority of the holiday that should be stated before letting people book as otherwise it's a totally different experience for a family staying. Especially with the prices paid. Also there should be ice creams available outside/poolside it was quite a mission to get these and carry through the hotel back outside across the hotel also normal savory snacks that were suitable for my children. Not what you'd expect from an ultra all inclusive
Some of the staff were really lovely and made our stay better for helping to accommodate my children when the kids club was closed they let them play in the clubhouse and use the arts and crafts. The patisserie was also very good

NetherlandsFood was not always good. You could see often stale foods. Some staffs were awful, rude, not so polite, not clean and too stinky. Of course some were behaving friendly and polite. Only a couple of them could speak English. It was a real challenge to make them understand what you need. You should talk with your fingers for pointing at something or showing the numbers. It was like two deaf persons are talking. A couple of them were fighting and shouting at each other all the time.
Beach was good. Bars were good. You could find good soft and alcoholic drinks, although the glasses were not always clean. The garden and the pool were beautiful.
