Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

SingaporeHotel room was kinda small and cramp.barely had enough room to move about when we unpacked our luggages.
Staff was friendly and polite. Always greets us with a smile . the manager sada was so interactive with the guests, always greeting and asking how is everyone. Breakfast spread was spoilt for choice. The location of the hotel was so conveniently located to all the famous attractions. Everything was like a walking distance for us.

Everything about the hotel was great, from the extensive breakfast choices to the friendly and attentive hospitality offered by every member of staff. The location is absolutely superb, 5 minute walk to Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and the Blue Mosque among others. There are also literally hundreds of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, talk about spoiled for choice! I highly recommend Dosso Dossi Sultanahmet old city as the perfect place to base yourself for exploring wonderful Istanbul!

Good hotel located in good location. Old town area and all main places are in walking distance. Staff are helpful kind from reception to restaurant, housekeeping and spa.

RomaniaThe room could have been better decorated and larger. It didn’t seem like a 4-star hotel room: the view was towards other rooms. Of course this makes the room quiet but also a bit dark. There wall also holes in the walls and no wardrobe. The cotbed provided for the baby was flimsy and potentially uncomfortable.
Amazing staff. In particular, Seda and Ozan were very helpful and always at our disposal. The location of the hotel could not be better: 3-5 min walk from the main attractions. Impressive breakfast selection . Confortabile bed and warm room.

New ZealandI have a suggestion the hotel might like to consider - if there were dispensers in the shower for shampoo, soap, conditioner, and similar for soap and hand creme in the bathroom, this would save on plastic by not using all the little bottles, and reduce waste with half-used bottles being thrown out.
Location was perfect for exploring Sultanahmet and many of the main 'sights' of Istanbul. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of sweet and savouries. The bed was very comfortable.
