Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomUnfortunately our shower mixer was not working properly - water was either burning hot or cold and water pressure was poor. We reported this at least 3 times during our stay and it was not fixed despite being told it had been. I had to shower at the family home nearby and my husband had to shower in the spa area. This was not ideal and was very disappointing.
Lovely modern hotel, with well proportioned rooms, good facilities and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and good storage. Onsite restaurant had a wide and varied choice of food and drinks and a pleasant outdoor seating area.

United KingdomHerbal tea bags would be a great idea to add to the rooms. More Traditional Turkish options on the dinner & lunch menu like kebabs etc etc. Please carry on with the cleanliness of the hotel and spa. Keep smokers outside as you have been, on the terrace.
I was on a mission to stay in a comfortable hotel as a solo traveller to Sanliurfa. I was so happy that I booked The DoubleTree Hilton. It was exceptional. The staff, the reception management (Remziye), the general manager (Onur). I have nothing but gratitude to the team for making my stay truly comfortable and for being super attentive. I have travelled the world and have stayed in superb hospitality the world over, this was nothing short of that. The cleanliness, the attention to detail. The respect. Everyone here is so humble, kind and warm. General Manager Onur, was flawless with his service and attentiveness. Even created a meeting room for me to work in, however I decided not to use it as I preferred the sunlight coming through my room on the 11th floor facing the West (Sunset was exceptional). The spa was also amazing, it was SOOO clean. And this is absolutely essential for a spa, with a private steam and sauna for women, as well as a hammam which was such an amazing experience. I had Vidya as my therapist, such a beautiful and kind soul, very very good at her therapist expertise. Breakfast was also really good as well. One thing that I missed having for dinner in the hotel was the traditional Kebap, however the reservation staff kindly recommended one to me a 5 min walk from the hotel and it was great. In addition, it would be nice to add Menangic Coffee to the menu as well, it is absolutely delicious and my first taste of it was in Gaziantep. Sooo good. Lastly, I think it would be a nice touch to have some herbal tea bags in the rooms, like Camomile tea, mint tea, and maybe some other ginger tea bags, after a long day of touring these would be great to have in the room. Onur was so thoughtful and sent some up to my room, already brewed after my very hectic day touring Mardin.

The staff left me with mixed feelings- overall they were nice but there were several hiccups during the stay. During the booking process, the hotel's service did not accept a credit card that had worked perfectly fine just a week prior in Adana's DoubleTree. This was stressful as the staff almost cancelled my booking. The breakfast experience was a bit confusing. Upon entering the breakfast room, my party and I were completely ignored by the staff. Despite the breakfast room being nearly empty, no one approached us to inquire about our preferences or offer coffee. It was only on the second day that I discovered the hotel served different coffee options. On the second day, the staff was more approachable. The check-out process proved to be a lengthy ordeal - too long for a simple 2 day stay. The receptionist seemed skeptical when I assured her that I hadn't consumed anything from the minibar. Given that I had paid a substantial sum, totaling more than 600 euros for multiple rooms (a significant amount in a city like Urfa), I had hoped for a smoother and more trusting departure process.
On the positive side, the hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident throughout the rooms, which were modern and inviting. The comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep, and the breakfast spread boasted an impressive array of choices.

United StatesWhen a western branded hotel advertises a bar, they should be careful to delineate that the bar is not what westerners might think of as a pub, bar. I’ve traveled the world many times and I know the verbiage is different here. I go back to the western brands. We expect a pub/stool/bar so we can chat with other solo travelers. . If you’re a solo traveler there is no bar. Your ass will be sitting alone.
Great hotel.

AustriaThe breakfast was supposed to start at 06:30. At 07:00 there was still nobody there from the waiters and personell. Slowly against 07:30 the breakfast room (within the BIGCHEFS Restaurant at the reception of the Hotel) was getting started. This is unacceptable for a high class hotel like this. Time planning is of outmost importance for business travellers.
Phantastic comfort and room quality
