How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The side-street where the hostel is may seem a bit scary, especially at night, but I don't care.
The hostel is located in the very center of the city, it's easy and convenient to get around. Rooms are clean and tidy, equipped with all necessary facilities, and the beds are super comfortable. Good value for money during the off-season.

Everything was very clean, nice and comfortable. The room was excellent and the facilities were really good. You definitely get what you pay for and even more. The Wi-Fi also worked really well. I really recommend this place!

No free tea or coffee or breakfast kitchen was very small could have been bigger
Beds curtains locker sizes heating in the room security was good terrace was good safe for woman alone close to old town and centre quiet at night so you could sleep well very good value for money

Toilets are inside bathrooms, so if shower is in use, whole bathroom is unavailable.
Friendly staff with lots of local recommendations. Great indoor and outdoor common spaces. Comfortable beds with handy light/plug/basket/hook set up. Laundry on site at a reasonable cost. Easy access to/from bus station and airport using public transportation.

Best hostel ever. Originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 3 more. Close to all the buzz and have a perfect courtyard and rooftop. The hosts are super kind and helpful. Loved them! Definitely staying again, if im back in Antalya

The alley way to the entrance looks unsafe, but it is a safe area.
Friendly helpful staff, clean, affordable, quiet, tranquil yard, located near shopping, restaurants and sites, as an older person l didn't feel out of place staying here.

What a beautiful hostel to stay at! Such a nice and welcoming atmosphere, the staff was super helpful and there was a really warm, friendly energy among everyone staying at the hostel. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean, too, and the location was super convenient to explore the city or take a walk to the beach.

Great hostel. I stayed in the big room at top of stairs. Found it to be super comfortable, quiet and close to the old city. (Much better than staying in the old city which can be noisy at all hours)

bed was comfortable, but very flimsy, i mean, every moove has a noise equivalent, so could be disrespectful in the night time to read the book))

A dream and wish hostel. If I could and would built my own hostel it would be exactly like Flaneur Hostel. Location 20/10. Staff 20/10 !! Comfort 10/10 Cleanness 10/10 Vibes and Atmosphere 20/10. Quietness , ok you can not expect in any city of the world in the city center perfect noise conditions and flaneur hostel is really taking care that you feel so much at home. A great place to be and will definitely come back and recommend it highly.

One of the best hostels I had been in. Located in the center close to shops and markers. Super friendly staff and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. It has a wonderful garden for sitting and co-working. Also there is a kitchen with all equipment for cooking or making coffee and tea. I really recommend this hostel and I definitely will book it if I go back to Antalya.

I love the hostel, its atmosphere, the staff. Both girls are super friendly and helpful. You can quickly feel like at home. Hostel is clean, beds are comfy, terrace on the rooftop are a huge plus. The hostel is close to the main attractions like Hadrians Gate or a harbor. What is more, there are some extra activities and spontaneous actions like yoga near the beach or movie watching. Beautiful experience and great stay. Totally recommend this hostel.

there was not toilet paper on any of the shared bathrooms from the afternoon until the morning that I had to requested it, still take more than 30 mins because there was no person on the reception.
the location is great, the hostel is clean.

There was a pet dog inside the hotel permises who kept on barking in the night and also there was so much noise from other rooms
Location As one side is old city and the other modern city and walking distance to beach .
