How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A bit of a drain smell in room
Quiet room, really great breakfast, lentil soup absolutely delicious, huge selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good walking distance to trams and sites

everything was almost fantastic, but the only problem was the language the staff and the people don't generally speak English so I find some difficulties in communication to finding some amenities and directions
it was an amazing hotel with a fantastic location and a fantastic staff Sulayman was so kind and friendly with a big smile, and the breakfast was varied and good everything so good :)

I spent there 4 nights and the room has never been cleaned. For me was ok because I liked my privacy but somebody else might be disappointed. Cost was above what you could expect but I think that was due to the period, when every hotel was fully booked.
Overall it was ok. The first impression of the reception little hall with people eating is not the best but the rest is fine. People at the desk are very kind even if not all of them speaking English. Breakfast is good but turkish style (no croissant, no biscuits but a lot of good jams). The room was facing the road but the window isolated well enough from the noice of the street, which is not very trafficated. Position is fine because in 5 minutes on foot you are the Mevlana Museum. I was there during the Mevlana festival and the hotel was fully boooked but ok.

Great price, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff are excellent, from directions to ordering taxis nothing is too much bother for them. If you want a cheap hotel close to everything then look no further.

The tv doesn't work and the "balcony" is apparently just a long window with a few inches of "space". The shelf on the bathroom was loose that it's actually feels not safe.
The location was within less than 1km from a lot of things. Despite that, it wasn't noisy. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was satisfying.

The hotel is walking distance from the mosque and the main square, they serve an ok Turkish breakfast included in the price of the room. Overall a very good deal for money. The room has everything you need.

The area of the hotel was not good. It felt slightly unsafe after dark. The outside of the hotel does not represent what it is like inside - it is much better once you enter the hotel.
Very close to the main attractions in Konya. The room was clean and the staff were all very helpful - especially the lovely man who oversaw the breakfast. Room was basic but good value. The room was warm in the very cold weather.
