Stayed for 3 nights at Góreme Cave Lodge. Excellent hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff. Impeccably clean and cozy rooms. Good breakfast. A surprisingly great view from the restaurant's terrace is another nice plus. We travelled by car and there was no problem finding a parking spot right near the entrance.

The property was very neat and our cave room was amazing. Great experience. Have to commend the staff because they are the best. They helped us with all our tours and any other questions we had. We had an early morning flight to catch back and didn’t have time for breakfast so they actually got us 2 sandwiches which I thought was very thoughtful. And as a goodbye, they even gave me 2 cute keychains. Will recommend this property a 100% to whoever visits Cappadocia.

The only thing we didn't like was when we had to leave.

We loved the friendliness of the staff. They were so kind and helpful. As nice as the hotel was, the best part was the people who worked there. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious - a nice selection of cheeses and olives and veggies and drinks and they make you an omelette if you'd like.The terrace offers beautiful views of the valley and the balloons in the morning. We would come back just to see the staff again. We felt so welcome and cared for.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Goreme Cave Lodge! From the help before we arrived and organising airport shuttle, to the great service from the friendly staff, breakfast overlooking the town, teas, coffees and fruits every day and our beautiful room with lots of nice touches. Restaurants, great hikes, viewpoints etc from the doorstep. We were lucky to stay the last two days of our stay in a cave room, which was very special. We were sad to leave, hopefully we will be back soon :)

This hotel had the friendliest staff we had in all of Turkey and also the comfiest bed. We took the night bus from Antalya and they were so accommodating and enabled us to enter the room earlier than check-in time, and also went above and beyond with letting us stay until our airport transfer. Breakfast was great and some additional gluten-free items were provided after mentioning celiac to them. We also appreciated the great balcony and the complimentary Turkish coffee offerings every morning and the snacks at night.

We were surprised they didn't serve alcohol at the hotel but that wasn't a big issue.

Everything was perfect

This stay could not have been better! I've never encountered such wonderful staff. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. They really went above and beyond to help us plan our time to make sure we had the best experience in Cappadocia for us. When my partner got sick in the middle of the night, they were so helpful organising our travel to the hospital and followed up with genuine concern to make sure we were ok. They were truly a fantastic team! The hotel itself is beautiful and wonderful views of the balloons can be seen every morning from the lovely terrace. It's walking distance to so many brilliant restaurants and hiking trails.

We really loved this hotel, from the energy-rich stone, comfortable spacious room, quiet location that is walkable to everything, but especially the owner and his amazing employees! Breakfast had an abundant array of dishes. Musat went out of his way to find me gluten-free bread. Seriously, he must have gone to every store over 2 days! Anya was so efficient, yet also so friendly and helpful, constantly offering us something to drink when we were in the office or chilling by the pool. Haroon was so sweet, always with a smile on his face. He even carried both our suitcases to the bus station for us! Every day, Murat or Haroon would bring us a snack of fresh fruit! Many thanks for an enjoyable stay!!

Everything about this property is top notch… Five star service by a staff that is incredibly warm and very responsive. First off: Communication began immediately via WhatsApp as soon as I reserved the room. This wasn’t an automated response, Murat asked how he could help- whether it be tour suggestions, directions, airport pickup— whatever we needed he responded instantly. Check-in: From the very moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed by Anya, a very warm and friendly person. She went over everything about the location, gave a list of awesome suggestions for tours, answered all of our questions and booked everything we wanted including balloon ride with an amazing company! The hotel: this is an actual cave home that’s been converted into a hotel— updated and renovated of course. The owner, an incredibly hospitable man who truly loves and thrives at his new role as hotelier— grew up in this home and was actually born in room 3, which was once the living room. His family moved so he did a massive renovation and expansion creating, what we think is a slice of paradise in a busy touristy town. A very relaxing pool area, amazing Turkish style upper deck that’s so instagramable all day especially when the balloons fly overhead at sunrise. We simply loved just hanging out at this hotel! In Cappadocia, there are a million places to check out, from underground cities to natural wonders— and we did that— but made sure to carve out time in the afternoon to be at the hotel by the poolside to enjoy the facilities and welcoming staff. It truly felt like home. The rooms: We chose the honeymoon cave suite, room 5. Wow! Cozy, clean beautifully decorated and very roomy… I’ve never slept in a cave but want to more often after having the best sleeps of my life. Wifi works great. Temperature perfect all of the time. The other guests said equally amazing things about their rooms, each one being unique and cozy. Rooms cleaned daily to perfection.
