For a family of 4, only 1 water bottle given each day to drink that is not sufficient and extra required is by paying money. This is not expectable when you are paying hefty amount to stay in a hotel. Shops were not that nearby to carry water or other food items conveniently all the time. Swimming pool was having no water. Some dogs were roaming freely that is part of Turkish culture but not everyone likes dogs roaming and lying here and there in the hotel. Staff who carried my luggage to the room was kind of rude and while taking my luggage to the room, expected me to lift the remaining suit cases , although it is hotel staff responsibility to drop stuff to the room and take it back at the time of departure. For the Airport taxi pickup and dropoff , hotel use over priced third party service that charged 15Euros per person. Although in the market everyone was charging 10Euros per person. Next time i shall arrange my own airport pickup and drop-off as now i know the companies and collected the contacts.

Location of the hotel is the main attraction as from the rooftop the hot air balloons are visible all around. Breakfast was decent with good variety of food and plenty of seating arrangement. Room was double story, well equiped with TV, Wifi and bathrooms were sanitized. private balcony was good as well although was facing the farm kind of environment nearby so animal smell was coming. Loved the walks from the hotel to the market and caves and view point etc. Everything is nearby. Overall staff was nice.

Doesn’t have an elevator. Although it is near the city center, you have to walk though some not so nice parts to get there. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay there.

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed!!. It is not cave hotel but the location close to main area where you can find restaurant, taxi etc., the rooms are spacious and castle themed. Rooms are clean and bigger balcony where you can see Hot air balloon flight in the morning!! Breakfast is fantastic and have many options. Kudos to the staff they did arranged airport transfer aty ad-hoc request.

The curtains were not fully blackout curtains and were getting light into the room but again not a massive issue.

Excellent hotel. The family is actually two rooms. You enter into the first room where there were two single beds and another door with a large double bed and toilet. Both had TVs where the 1st room had a biggest. Room was very clean and had all essentials you would expect from a hotel (Towels, toiletries, etc.) Excellent breakfast with a good variety of choice. Hotel is in a quite place and at night there were no noises to disturb sleep which was important to us with two kids. Walking distance (10-15mins) to the town with restaurants, ATMs, Money exchange places, etc). You can see the hot air balloons in the morning from the window or room balcony or roof top if you happy to walk up to it (which we did). Hotel staff are great and very helpful, specially the gentleman at the reception in the evening and the lady in the breakfast restaurant in the morning(unfortunately couldn't get their names). All in all excellent stay and would highly recommend.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but there is a mosque right behind it and the call for prayers was quite loud. There were also some people drumming at about 3 am to announce the last meal before the fasting hours. I suppose this would be the same everywhere else, especially during Ramadan, but something to keep in mind if you are travelling during this period of the year.

Great location, very close to the centre of Goreme. The room was spacious, with a nice balcony. The staff was very helpful. We would love to go back in the summer and make use of the pool as well. Good breakfast with plenty of choice for food.
