Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe bed was extremely hard. That is my main complaint. The WiFi was not great (a little spotty, and not very fast), but not such a big deal.
The staff was excellent. Pinar and another person immediately carried our bags upstairs after check in, someone was always available at the property to assist, the hotel had lots of charm and was a quiet oasis in the old town. Breakfast was ample. We enjoyed a perfectly cooked egg each morning as well as treats from the garden including olives and orange marmalade.

Delicious Turkish breakfast starts the day off really nice. The garden is super serene and absolutely gorgeous. I loved all the old ottoman decorations. The place is so worth the money and truly one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Also the staff is a prime example of amazing Turkish hospitality and really make the place feel like home. Super well cleaned and maintained place.

SerbiaThe hotel could benefit from a little redecoration, especially the bathrooms, and we could have used more things like clothes hangers but those were very minor things.
The hotel is located in the very heart of Old Town in Antalya, with a lot of restaurants around it and an easy walk away from the park at the seaside with some amazing views of the sea and the mountains. At the same time, the street itself is quiet, we slept like babies. The best thing about the hotel is the cozy garden and the staff who are friendly, helpful and made us feel so very welcome!

United StatesThe hotel is in a good location in the city center of Old Antalya. It is a little tucked away from the busier streets so it was a relaxing stay for us. It is a few blocks away to restaurants and about a 5 min walk to public transportation. Breakfast was quite nice with eggs made to order and fresh jams. The rooms have cozy feel with plenty of space. Hostess gave us free lavender from her farm!

United StatesIn our room there was a cabinet meant for a small refrigerator, but it was empty. The internet was weak in the room.
We spent 3 nights at Hadrianus Hotel, Antalya in mid-October, 2023. Hadrianus is a restored Ottoman house. We liked this quiet, comfortable place, if somewhat cluttered. It is in an excellent location in Antalya's historic Kaleici District, and you can easily walk to the waterfront, restaurants, and shops. (However, you might want to take public transport or a taxi to the museum, as it is a fair distance.) The garden was a bit wooly and could use tidying up. Our room, #2, was a Standard Double Room with a garden view. It was a bit small, but not as small as some we have stayed in Turkey. It had two nice size, deep-set windows, wood floors, a double bed with a good mattress, a wardrobe, and a large bathroom. Bathroom window needs better privacy curtain/shutter/screen, as it is right where you stand when taking a shower. Breakfast was quite good and extensive, served in the garden. Also, we really enjoyed relaxing in the early evenings sitting in a quiet space in the front area of the hotel, next to the gate.

HungaryThe wifi was very weak in our room, but at the garden it is totally fine.
It was an amazing experience, this downtown hotel is everything and more for those who like the busy streets of the Old Town. The staff was extra nice, the breakfast fresh and filling and the garden is beautiful. The nice beaches are a little bit far, but if you are interested for the historical part of the city, this place is perfect for you.

PolandThe only, tiny minus was that on the booking was said you can pay by card but we had to pay in cash on the spot.
Despite the hotel being in the heart of the old town (Kaleiçi), the hotel and the garden were very quiet and pleasant. You can relax having breakfast in the garden in the morning. The hotel is old, but thanks to that, it has a fantastic atmosphere, you can see that it is a place with a soul and history. The hotel staff, in particular Ms. Pınar, is very kind and helpful :) Breakfast is typically Turkish and the products are fully natural. Fruit, olive oil, cheese come from local resources - the owner of the hotel has olive groves, her own oranges, etc. At Hadrianus Hotel you can feel at home!
