We loved everything about this little jewel in the old historical city centre! The architecture is magnificent, the atmosphere is quiet, the breakfast is rich of fresh products, every detail is accurate. The staff is consistently kind and helpful. The city highlights are behind the corner by foot and there is a guarded parking lot nearby. We came to visit the archaeological museum and archaeological sites nearby anf found this hotel a perfect base to explore the surroundings.

Sometimes it was difficult to communicate as no one spoke English and sadly we don’t speak Turkish but it was entertaining and effective having to resort to sign language! The rooms were nicely furnished with dim Turkish lighting.

It is a small, clean, quiet, family-run traditional konak. it was in the heart of the old part of SANLIURFA. Nice courtyard with a fountain that’s lit at night. You are gently awoken by the sounds of 2 mosque’s call to prayer and cooing pigeons. The breakfasts were superb, enough to set you up for the whole day. Very nice traditional seating outside outside room and in the courtyard. ‘Atmospheric cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Plenty of hot water, room heating for the winter. A kettle and fridge made it feel homely. We stayed a week whilst we explored Gobekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, the wonderful local bazaars and archaeological and mosaic museums.

The hotel is beautiful! You feel welcomed immediately! The hotel is in very good conditions and clean! The rooms are comfortable so you can rest peacefully after a long day of activities! The location is key, is near from the center so you can go walking to several touristic places! The staff is nice, they contact you to have a smooth check and the breakfast is delicious! Recommended!

Beautiful hotel in an ancient building. The breakfast was very good, the staff very friendly, but we had to communicate with an translator app. Before we leave they gave us a little bag with some very deliscious biscuits, herbs and water.

The WiFi was spotty with frequent drops.

Exquisitely renovated Turkish konak in the heart of Sanliurfa. The rooms are really nicely finished and Ercan (the owner) and his staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and give you tips for your stay. The breakfast was delicious with home-made fresh bread and delicacies from the region.

It might be better to clarify how you can get there, saying the guy with the mope will come, because the lanes cannot be seen in Street View and some guest can be discouraged.

The hotel is located in the very pictorescue lanes of the old town. The boy from the Hotel comes to meet you at the near parking with his mope to bring your luggage. The hotel is in old Armenian house perfectly refurbished. The owners welcome us in a warm and friendly way.

Staying in Konak has exceeded my expectations., starting from the architecture of the building, the cleanliness and the staff engaged in the hotel. During the stay all the staff made me feel at home so I recommend if you travel to Sanliurfa stay in HAYATLI and be convinced of what I say.

A stay at this hotel is not good value for money. Once in the country, I could see online that many nearby hotels (with good reviews and similar features) were available for less than half the price. We needed to stay an extra night which I advised them of 1.5 weeks in advance due to flight changes and given the affordability of hotels nearby I thought they may offer a room for a more affordable price, but they did not. I was actually charged a few hundred TL more! The owner said due increasing cost of materials etc they could not price us based off the exchange rate at the time (I used currency converter to show the price). He then told me he aimed to have the most expensive (not best quality) hotel in the area and indicated we were lucky to stay for that price, which was a strange remark. I should have canceled the booking then and there but was tired and didn't want to argue further. Aside from us, the hotel was fairly empty too. The nearby street was also very noisy (waking us up very early) and dirty with rubbish and faeces. The first room smelled strongly of sewerage so we were moved to another room. The rooftop couches also were not setup most days for us to use (covered with tarp). The bathroom fans are very loud so use of it will likely wake up other guests in the room, and the bathroom is very small. We have stayed at numerous luxury konaks and hotels in Turkey and received much better service for a much more affordable price, where coffee and tea were offered and provided for free (coffee was 4 times the price here) and service provided with enthusiasm, with information on locations to visit also provided. I recommend the hotel owner stay at some konaks in other cities to understand what kind of service other hotels are providing, before making remarks like "the service will exceed those of other places you have stayed". The aim should be to make the hotel good value for money, not the 'most expensive' hotel.

The location is the best feature of this hotel - close to the centre where many tourist attractions are located. The staff were polite (Nuri bey - the Principal-and reception) and breakfast was delicious. There are also great views from the rooftop.
