The terrace is small in space and the tables and chairs look old and rusted.

The hotel is well located and close to the main tourist attractions. Control cameras, even though I could say Istambul is a safe city, it makes you feel more secure during your stay.

The only thing was that the cleaning women woke up a little bit early because she was cleaning the room next to us and the corridor at 8am in the morning,

everything was perfect, the location is amazing, and thanks to Sezgin’s help we had a really nice journey :)

The noise from all the mosques around might be disturbing.

The location is perfect,walking distance to all attractions,hotel is clean,staff super friendly and helpful.I highly recommend the property for a nice stay.

Nice little hotel, clean, staff was pleasant and helpfuful. Breakfast is organized in nearby hotel with terrace, which has beautiful view on Bosfor from one side and Blue mosque from the other. Location is excellent! Blue mosque, Aya Sophia, Cistern Basilica, Topkapi Palace, Museum, Hippodrome are on few minutes walk. Hotel is surrounded with many small restaurants. If you are looking for deacent place, with fair price, Hippodrome hotel is a good choice.

The first room we were given was tooooo small for four adults. No room to swing a cat. On requesting a change this was sorted the following day. Beds are not comfortable and mattresses could do with replacing. We were moved to the sister apart hotel across the road at our own request as this is where I previously stayed and preferred. Breakfast is in a different hotel on the same street

Location is great. I have stayed at the hotel a party before which is why I chose to stay again. Some initial teething problems with the room. Sorted the following day. Breakfast is traditional Turkish continental and the staff try hard to please. Room facilities are mediocre with chargeable drinks available. Room is clean but dated. Great restaurants and attractions in walking distance.

In relation to the price the hotel is excellent

- Hotel could not find our reservation at first. Thus, we had to move to an annex across the street. - This room need some general renovations & maintenance. - Construction noise from outside. (This, however, cannot be blamed on the hotel.) - Aircon in room not working. - Shower head need replacement. - As we left before breakfast on our last day, reception offered to have some breakfast ready for us to take with, this was not done.

We did not have room which we booked. Floor of the room was very dirty. Many stairs up before lift, it is very big problem if you have few big luggages.

The hotel was located in a very good position, in the heart of Istambul city. As a matter of fact, from there it is possible to reach the Blue Mosk by going on foot, moreover it takes only two tram stops to get to the Grand Bazar.
