How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Plenty of mosquitos as there were holes in the nets
Host was super nice and even though we havent stayed long enough to enjoy, place is nearly beachfront.

The room is not mosquito-proof. I woke up at night to the buzzing sound of mosquitoes. Would be nice if the hosts could add / repair some nets.
Nice place close to the beach. Cordial host family, was warmly welcomed over Turkish tea with the English speaking owner. Good value for price and nice breakfast.

Sheets were a little dusty under the quilt. Everything else was freshly clean when we arrived.
The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful, so friendly and kind. They gave us tea and talked with us. The actual hotel is cute format too, with the little cabins. There's a restaurant on site. They even helped us upgrade our room, the price is unbeatable. Ac and hot water worked, just a minute from the beach, shops and places to eat. Rooms were quiet and had a mini fridge and tv and private bathroom. There's very cute kitties on site to keep you company too. If you want to stay a little outside of main town, closer to water and nature this is a great spot for you.

There was no air conditioner in the room even though I have booked a room that says it has air conditioner. We were told that wont be a problem since the room can be cool at night.However , we could not even sleep due to warm room. In addition to that , the rooms were not that clean, though.

There were mosquitos
İt was cheap, very comfy, the staff was extra cheerful and helpful, very nice beach and dining opportunities. Cosy bungalovs with a garden full of greens and art.

Great location and staff. The owner welcomed us with free tea and breakfast in the morning. He sat with us and welcomed us like a friend. We loved it. Peaceful place with a beautiful sand beach right in front, great for families with small children. We will definitely come back someday.

The road to the hotel is really scary at night. If you want to stay here, travel during daylight to see the greenery.
The staff was so welcoming that I fell in love with the place overall. It really felt like home the way owners greeted and treated us. Our room bed was broken so they shifted us to a new room entirely without wasting any time. We had booked room without AC but they were very kind to upgrade our rooms for free since it was hot. Very nice people, recommeded. It was near the beach and very soothing and calm one indeed. Not crowded at all. Relaxing

Can’t think of anything we wouldn’t like, 12/10 points is not enough!
The owners are the nicest people you’ll ever meet in Turkey, they are very helpful and their hospitality is exceptional. Also, you can’t imagine a better location - it just takes one little step out of the hotel and you’re immediately at the waterfront (and there is a very good barber if you need a haircut ;)). Breakfast was delicious! It’s a shame that we could only stay for one night, but if we’re ever back in Turkey this place is a must. Thank you again!

I like all
I like the price, stuff , mister Arif & his wife they were very welcomed & we felt like a family. They upgrade us to a standard room wit AC & refilrigator for free so realy i thank them for the hospitality. I like the location is quiet & calm & 50 min by car from Bursa crossing the beautifull country sides. The location has a restaurant and shops and security ..
