Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

NetherlandsThis property on this location should have a watertaxi to pick up their guests and drive them to the other side during their stay. It is easy however to hop in a taxi and drive to the other side and thankfully taxis are very affordable but the best way is using the water. Another important lack is a pool which could be an easy and inexpensive investment using the Bosphorus.
Wonderful location, great staff and a beautiful breakfast. Stunning views from the top rooms and downstairs deck. Spectacular. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThis used to be very nice hotel and this is why I prefered to stay here for a “great evening” with my family in İstanbul The location is fantastic, but be cautious about non-sea view rooms. Unfortunately, our room faced a construction work on the road and there was a GSM receiver underneath. Please see the photos from my room, not exactly same as the photos you see on the website. While the overall experience was good, the reception's assistance fell short. Avoid park view rooms; they may not justify the cost. It doesn’t worth the money you pay

The breakfast was one of the best meals of my life, every ingredient was so fresh and incredibly delicious, paired with an amazing view of the water just feet away from the table. The room was decorated with really lovely rose petals everywhere since it was our wedding night, and the bed was very soft and comfortable. This is definitely a very luxurious stay.
