The breakfast could be better: vegetables could be washed better, when something (like tomato, cucumber, omlets, gözleme) is finished it could be refilled if it's still before 10:30.

The location was very good, there was a large amd clean room and bathroom, a comfortable bed and pillows. Helpful and kind staff.Havataş airport shuttle's station is just in front of the hotel. Lots of local shops and restaurants in walking distance.

The location of the hotel is key! It is in the middle of the old town, so you have everything near! Restaurants, public transport, museums! The room was nice and clean! The breakfast was good to start a day of activities! But the best was the staff, Helin, she was so helpful, I asked thousands of questions and she helped whith each one! Of course it was between Turkish and English, but for that there is google translator! 100% recommended for foreign.

Breakfast was good. Some of the vegetables and fruits were not fresh, but the rest was good. At night the corridor was loud with kids. Some of the lamps and switches didn't work.

Location was good - at the center of the old city. The views from the terrace was great too. Very clean and comfortable room.

If you are sensitive to noise at night, do not get a room facing the street as the restaurant opposite has incredibly loud music until around 1am. Despite ear plugs I could not sleep. Staff kindly moved me to a cosy little room on the other side and I slept like a baby. As with many Turkish hotels in my experience, attention to detail in the rooms was missing. Staff should check that everything in the rooms works like the safe, the shower or if the toilet seat is loose. Housekeeping should restock teabags etc.. nevertheless I would go back:-)

The interior decor was very stylish, the beds comfortable, the staff were very kind and lovely, particularly Ömer!! He is an asset to the hotel. Always polite and helpful. The location is perfect. The city bus even stops right in front of the hotel. I took some day trips independently so this was a plus. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious!

The main drawback was the temperature... the property was so hot... breakfast was average with sub par service. Reception had a cigarette smell. We had a double room but two single beds were put together., which was not very comfortable.

Location is fantastic, rooms are comfortable and good size. Staff was helpful.

This is no fault of the hotel itself, but in booking 'a room with a view' we found ourselves opposite the Nazende Restaurant rooftop which employs a singer / musician who goes on late into the night amplified by speakers which (even with all windows closed) prevents any light sleeper from getting a good night's sleep.

The room itself is comfortable, you are right inside the old part of town and can explore easily on foot, with the Mardin museum at walking distance. Haylil Effendi at reception has good English and can arrange transport to sites or travel out of Mardin with reliable drivers.

    all was good

The hotel is superb, totally recommend for any future trips and visits to Mardin. Very comfy bed, nice room, and good shower. Everything is very clean, and guests oriented. Hotel has small parking on the street, I recommend you to call them in advance and ask for assistance. Coz the street is super busy and you might not want to create additional traffic. Very helpful personnel.

Not bad, but my stay was durling Ramadan. And Mardin Museum was closed during my staied. Of course it's not Hotel's matter.

Staff are kind, I pretty had a nice time. Hotel is center of old city, you can walk around easily. Now just tourists are decreasing by earthquake, but Mardin is out of area. So please visit there.

AC not working, careless staff, terrible breakfast, good location
    • Leisure trip

Althoug the lobby on the ground floor looked promisingly clean after my arrival, I have to say that the room might be cleaner. In my room, there was some dirt behind the wash-basin (photo attached), and I had an overall feeling that the staff was in a hurry with the cleaning. The AC was not working well throughout my entire stay. I told the receptionist about this issue, a guy came to check my room, but I was ensured it is OK, that it just takes some time to cool the room. The AC was set on 17 degrees, but it was still more than warm during the night. The next day I realized that the other guests had the same issue, the staff heared our conversation, but didn't seem willing to do anything about it. Since I didn't want to get angry, I decided to survive. The breakfast was terrible. The worst breakfast I've ever had in Turkey. A very bad selection (maily fried items, floating in oil - sausages, peppers, aubergine and potatoes) and some of the items even looked like leftovers from the previous day. No coffee at all. The hotel advertises that they have an amazing terrace, where the breakfast is served, but to be honest, the place is nothing close to comfortable. There is a simple greenhouse-like construction and it's very hot underneath it. It is obvious that the management took a lot of care about "old fashioned" look of the furniture and facilities inside the rooms, which might sometimes be pleasant and romantic, but in this case it turned to be very impractical. I talk especially about the brass faucets, which have pretty sharp edges (photo attached). I cut my finger once!!! and I don't even want to imagine what could happen if someone slips on the floor... I find it DANGEROUS and it shoul be immediately replaced. Only one of the receptionists speaks more than basic English. Should be improved.

The best thing about this hotel is its location, which is very central, close to all major sights.
