Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel was really nice and quiet due to it being just out of holiday season, so if you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place to catch that last little Bit of sun before the colder months in the U.K., I would defo recommend. The restaurants across the beach front were also really good, so you don’t have to venture out too far because you have everything on your doorstep.

United KingdomIncluded breakfast was very tasty but there was confusion over what was included for free, which meant we ended up paying a fair bit extra, not knowing that eggs-related additions offered by the staff actually incurred a cost. Local area was very quiet with not much to do, nor particularly scenic in comparison to other areas of Bodrum.
Room was clean and comfortable, hotel facilities including pool were nice and clean.

BelgiumThe staff was incredible. We were so late for our check-in and we needed to check-out very early in the morning. Because of this normally we weren't able to have our breakfast but they prepared sandwiches for us! Such a nice help really. Also in the night we were so hungry and wanted to eat something and actually the kitchen was closed but they still gave food for us! It couldn't be better after a long day. Definitely 5 stars! I wish we stayed more! We will definitely go back here to stay longer! Thank you so much to everyone! Such nice people!

GermanyNo pier. They said it has been removed by the municipality. The bathroom was super small and almost inconvenient, unfortunately. There was also a weird smell in the bathroom.
The staff was super friendly and kind; exceptional service for sure! Everything we tried from their lunch and dinner menu exceeded our expectations. I recommend you visit for a nice dinner even if you plan to stay around and have a great evening.

SwedenStaff of the hotel is super helpful and very nice generally. One things that wasn't very handy is that there were just a few people who spoke English, particularly in the dinning area. So at times we had to wait a bit extra just to get something until an English-speaking waitress would approach us. Otherwise – everything was perfect.
Fabulous hotel! Very cozy, not too crowded, excellent rooms, super clean and predominantly occupied by locals. Breakfasts are awesome, and beach is just 20-30 meters from your room. Definitely recommended! The city is just 20 min drive and the taxi is very affordable.

Germany- the WiFi reception in our room (apparently in most rooms) was non-existent, only on the balcony - the standard double room is tiny, almost too little for 2 people - our shower was clogged and even though they sent someone over to unclog the shower drain, the water took forever to run off - the inner yard is not soundproof and every noise kind of echoes, especially when people sit on their balconies and talk - everything on the menu is almost ridiculously expensive - the beautiful pier from the photos was being dismantled when we were there and supposedly by the municipality of Bodrum itself that just follow a new regulation on piers in Turkey. It was rather annoying to witness that, since the works went on for days and were disturbing at the beach area, plus the pier was the biggest selling point for us to choose this particular hotel. But the hotel has no fault in that, turkish regulation systems are to blame.
- amazing boutique design and aesthetics, the restaurant and its terrace are beautifully decorated - located at the beach with its own little private area (which really is tiny), the location can be a bit far off by foot (walking distance to the next market 5 mins & bakery approx. 15 mins - no private parking area, but you can park anywhere in the proximity and staff will help you with parking at any time - nice balconies, almost bigger than the standard room - beautiful garden in the yard, small but cozy pool area - they provide towels and sun beds at the pool as well as the beach - easy check-in and check-out process - staff is very hospitable, forthcoming and helpful. They were kind enough to help us with birthday arrangements and provided a birthday cake free of charge. I really appreciate this kind of service in the hospitality sector, so big plus for this. - the breakfast is fresh and delicious, they bring individually set up classic turkish breakfast to your tables for those who have breakfast included and you can order more or something else from a variety of breakfast items - to me, the hotel is perfect for a short getaway and I wish, it was adults only, since kids can be too noisy in the non-soundproof yard and pool area

IndiaThe hotel is a 20mts drive to the city centre and may not be convenient for those who arent self-driving. Taxis are available but could be a problem during odd hours!
The location was fabulous with Private access to the beach, which made for a good dip each day of our stay. The room aesthetics were on point as was the view from our Suite room - gorgeous sea-view. The in-house restaurant has a gorgeous setting and the food was outstanding - some of the best we had during our 15-day Turkish escapade!

Bahrainthe only fault was that the beach area was small and cramped with beach beds, the pier is comfortable though
We absolutely loved our stay at Khai, it was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and also had a balcony overlooking the lovely garden in the middle. The hotel is located on a beach strip with a bunch of other hotels and restaurants, so we stayed there for our full stay and didn't need to leave. You could eat somewhere new everyday on that strip but honestly, the food at the hotel was the best (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). At night the hotel's pier transforms to a restaurant called Tuzz and the food was phenomenal.
