- The A/C box kept leaking fluid, which meant I had to place a towel below the box to stop the floor from getting wet. This caused me quite a lot of disturbance during my second night, however I informed the staff the next morning and they kindly upgraded me to a much better room.

We would have preferred a few channels in English on TV or have English subtitles.

Breakfast was good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the tram station and walking distance to a few of the main sites and restaurants/ takeaways. There is also a 24 hour convenience store directly across the hotel with reasonable prices. We were really grateful for the early check-in and upgrade to larger rooms. We had 3 rooms booked, the manager ensured that we received rooms close to each other, which we really appreciated.

We were there for 6 days and had two sets of loud (at night) women as neighbors. My girlfriend dealt with the Russian set, the other one was resolved by reception

The building in front of the hotel had a noisy ventilation system that forced us to keep windows closed most of the time, but that's not something the hotel can do much about...

Perfect location: next to Sultanahmet Square and all the main old town locations. Breakfast had a good range of healthy options. The room we got was quite big with views of the ocean, and an ample terrace with plenty of sunlight that came in handy one of the days. The best thing was the hotel staff: all of them were very friendly, Kadir had a great sense of humor, they were generous with hotel policies, they helped us get into and out of the airport at reasonable prices, and they helped us recover a lost phone with significant sentimental value. If I visit Istanbul again, I will go to Kupeli hotel.

The hotel is located in a very good area however it is down a very steep road so if you have walking difficulties beware of this as going back up Is quite difficult. We were placed in the terrace room on the 6th floor of the building next to the hotel, the lift only reaches 5th floor so again if you have walking difficulties going up steep steps could be an issue. The breakfast options were not great, not to everyone taste and very basic. There was banging noise- building work everyday from about 10am.

The location is good quite close to tram stop, easy access to airport (tram then bus about 2 hours dependingon traffic). Room is large very comfortable bed and clean. There is a supermarket round the corner which we discovered at the end of our trip. WiFi is good, it rained for 2 days and the hotel provided us with an umbrella.

Breakfast.Every single day same food. It was basically Turkish breakfast but there was no change in the menu everyday same food, very limited options and no options for international guests.

The location is excellent. Everything is within walking distance. Tons of local restaurants, and activities to do. The room was very clean and beautiful. Even though it was a roadside room so much sound was there at night time but after a whole day exploring we were ready to fall asleep in a minute. The staff were also very polite and gave good service. Value for money.

Our room was in a building next to the hotel (different entrance) - it was clean, but the bathroom door had a hole on the inside face and this building did not look as good as the hotel building
