Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere were quite a few bugs in my room, the room I had was next to the staff cabinet and they kept slamming stuff and talking really loud and the breakfast wasn’t the best and can be improved (more English options and staff to offer out beverages)
The staff were lovely especially the lovely gentleman who checked me in! The room was amazing and extremely spacious! Beautiful hotel with lots to do around and in the hotel!

NetherlandsIts not a negative point, but be prepared that most of the hotel guests are here for medical reasons like dental health, plastic surgery and so on. Actually this was very interesting to watch.
It was a nice and comfortable stay at this hotel. Its modern and cozy and nearby a lot of facilities in Lara like restaurants, malls, the sea and the airport.

NorwayThe hotel and reception, and the staff was very helpful. We had minor issue with the room, and got pre arranged room change. The pool and rooms are decent, close to airport very good for families that want to experience sun and getaway from theire usually day routine. I would like to thank the management as well. My family had it good and calm.

TurkeyHowever, the hotel could use some improvements. The balcony, although a lovely feature, was too cramped for comfort due to the inclusion of a pair of stools. The shower door lacked privacy, being just a clear glass. This proved to be a slight inconvenience, particularly if one wished to sleep while another person was showering. It's also recommended to consider renewing the plinth flooring in the room. The refrigerator did not function correctly either - rather paradoxically, it remained at room temperature inside while generating heat externally.
The hotel's location was a delight – nestled in a quiet area, devoid of the noise from bustling roads. Yet, local attractions such as the TerraCity Shopping Mall and the captivating Düden Waterfalls were only a 15-minute walk away. Public transportation access does require the same 15-minute walk to the nearest bus stop, but taxis offer a swift and inexpensive alternative. The staff was remarkably friendly, accommodating an extra stay due to our plane delay for a minimal fee. Leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and lounge area, were excellent, and the bar remained open until 2 am. The breakfast was standard, and the other meals offered throughout the day were satisfactory.

RussiaThe only upset was beach. The hotel has transfer to the beach and should be booked in advance. The beach is really far from the hotel and was not nice at all. It looked like it needed renovation. However the sea was clear and the water was transparent. My suggestion is to find some nice public beach not far from the hotel and walk there.
The hotel itself is small, but very nice, located close to airport. The staff is just more than helpful, especially guest relation. We tried only breakfast and it was really good, big variety of dishes. Wi Fi had strong signal, nice pool to relax, but the water was really cold) Also they have taxi button on reception which was really helpful, the taxi comes in a minute. The room was as expected and we had fruit plate upon arrival. Also it was nice we could make early check in.

OmanOur room was the suite as there were four of us. A little dim. Could have down with some extra lighting. Otherwise spacious enough for two adults and two children. We did have some internet issues every now and then but it meant refreshing so we coped.
The location is great. Many many restaurants within a short walking distance. The staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Meltim who is the guest relations manager exceptional. We had an issue with a shuttle driver not related to the hotel. We spoke to her about this. We went out for a meal. Came back to our room. A bottle of wine in a bucket and a platter of fruit awaited us. Just to let us know they felt for us. And it wasn’t even the hotels fault. There’s so much effort to make everyone a family member. Meltim was always visible and would great guests in the morning in and around the hotel. She informed us about day trips. We went on one to Demre. The staff were attentive and friendly and enjoyed a joke. The breakfast filling though not a full English but then again we were in Turkey. A great selection for the full Turkish breakfast. The pool is a good size and was never very crowded. Water was free and staff ensured we were hydrated. Antalya is an amazing place and the old town and port definitely worth visiting.

DenmarkThe normal rooms are small so be aware of that. You can hear trough the walls and sometimes that’s not good.
As a family we don’t like big resorts but small authentic places. So after looking at almost 100 hotels in Antalya we found Laren family and decided to give it a try. the hotel was very cozy , clean and good decorated. The service from the staff was exceptional and we really liked it. The breakfast and the brunch buffet was really good. definitely a place I will recommend

United KingdomThe only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, almost the same every morning.
Laren family hotel and Spa is a nice clean hotel in Lara Turkey. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially Meltem and Gulbem, the afternoon receptionist. They both were exceptional. There was nothing too big for them to help you with. Meltem went far and above her normal duties. My husband forgot his passport in a shop at Tera city and we didn't realise until we got back to the hotel. When Mel heard, she called the shop to confirm the passport was there and sent someone to collect it. Thank you all for making our stay enjoyable. We will not hesitate to come back again or recommend to others.

SpainCheck-in: Our check-in took too much time because we were given a smaller room and when we were asked for our room, it had to be cleaned which took a long time. Food: We had booked an all inclusive meal plan but we were not very happy with the food. On most days, a lot of the food was from the previous buffet or it was dry. As a result, we decided to eat some meals outside the hotel even though we had already paid for the food at the hotel. Tour Service: We were planning on exploring Antalya using the hotel's tour partners. The first one we booked was a Party Boat tour which was 30 euros a person and included lunch along with 5 free soft drinks from the boat bar. The views we saw were great but overall it was a not a good experience. The boat crew was not bothered about the service they were providing. The food served on board was dry and didn't seem fresh. We weren't given any free drinks, so instead of getting 5 free softdrinks/water/coffee per person we had to pay extra for that. We reached back to the hotel at 6pm and we left at 8:40am in the morning so it was an entire day wasted along with the money.
Staff: The staff were very friendly regardless of language barriers. They were always very polite and professional. Cleanliness: The hotel is kept very clean and tidy. At all times.

United KingdomBeach was far and looked rented by another company which provide an inaccurate uncomfortable transportation, beach was not very clean, and we waited long to return to the hotel with unhappy not smiling driver, this makes us not keen to go to beach again. The hotel was clean, however may need more attention.
Staff were very good and smile all the time with good guidance and always ready to help when needed. Good variety of food items and very good restaurant staff. Acceptable room size
