Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

I like Leda Beach Hotel. Small and homely. A little wild, but deliciously wild.

It’s rustic and parts are beautiful. The mini beach is perfect for children & the pool is large, clean and peaceful. Buffet dinner was simple but nicely done. Wine (€4, one option for each colour) was cheap, but tasted nicer than predicted. All drinks are charged at extra (even at breakfast!). We paid around £140 for 2 nights inc half board. On arrival, there is a €5 for internet (per person), €5 for parking, beach towels are extra & €5 to access you room’s safe - (first time we’ve had to rent a safe). AC was good & was included in the room rate. Our first room (505) was large & basic. We requested a change after a noisy cockerel kept us up from 1am until 7am. This bird is a serious nuisance! (We live in the countryside back in the UK where animals can be noisy at night but this was something else! This bird can keep going loudly all night). To add a little insult to injury, the shower ran only cold for me in the morning. Another room was offered (402): it was small, smelt of stale cigarette smoke (the lady showing us the room said she had lost her sense of smell so couldn’t agree (but we could leave the front door open to help this?!) & it had a broken glass shower door. It did have a hot shower though & was closer to the beach and most importantly, further away from that rooster! Neither room had sound proofing, you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms directly around you. Not to be outdone by the cockerel in our first room, our neighbours hocked up phlegm throughout the night to ensure we were both simultaneously irritated & grossed out; in the second room, we could hear every conversation & even a bag of crisps being munched. Putting on the AC drowned some of it out. Overall, would we return? Maybe…It’s clean, fairly cheap & while it’s seriously coasting on the area’s outstanding beauty - we were listened to when we were unhappy and quick action was taken to move us.

NorwayBe aware: you pay extra for air condition, WiFi and parking. If you do not have all inclusive the meals are expensive.
As an early booker it was cheap. It is situated smack in the middle of the most turistical part of Side.

United Kingdom1)Wi-Fi is not free. 2) Cocktails needs to improve. 3) There may be harmless ants in the rooms, unfortunately it is very difficult to prevent this in the bungalows in the garden (I was ok with that as ants are harmless bugs and they're not in your bed or anything, just don't leave any food around) 4) When you take the key while leaving the room, the electricity turns off instantly. It doesn't even allow 1-2 minutes to lock the room. 5) No laundry service in the hotel, they sent it outside which is expensive and you need to wait till next day usually 6) In the evening they close the beach door but they don't mention it at check-in. You can not call the hotel by phone in the evenings, no one answers even if it's open 7/24, we panicked when the door was closed, then we went around the other side (a bit walking in the middle of the night) 7) The night receptionist was a uninterested and rude. When his shift was over, he left without waiting for me to finish my sentence for example.
If you want a real Side experience, then that's the place you should stay. I would not recommend you to trapped in 5 star hotels. There are many places to explore in Side. One side of the hotel opens to the sea and the other side opens to the ancient city/ruins of Side. Their Bungalows are great. Hotel's location is amazing, it is close to everywhere. Breakfast was decent. The pool is clean and useful. A real Side experience. I also recommend you to join quad bike, rafting or boat tours while you're in Side.

RussiaThe stuff at reception took extra moneys for room upgrade and they didn't show room at first. We paid extra for nothing because they said we will give much better room. We had dinner at our reservation and there was any info about extra payment for beverage - so, if you will choose dinner, you should be ready for extra payment even for turkish tea 😒.
The location of hotel is excellent, in my favorite place in Side. Good breakfast and dinner, good rooms and garden. Because of location i will glad to come back

TurkeyThe Hotels' beach is not very big, there is not much shallow access to the water. Better take a short walk to büyük beach ...
Hotel is in good location, just five minutes to walk to historic center of Side. Hotel offers parking lots which are cheaper than the official ones outside of town. Breakfast tastes good.

NetherlandsI hate it when I come to a hotel and the reality differs from the (marketing) photos shown on the website. The nice rooms/cute tiny houses around the swimming pool and in the 'green gardens', with a nice balkony, with trees providing shade, are only a few. These marketing photos may give you a different expectation, depending on which room you'll get. Needles to say, we didn't get one of these rooms, and in my opinion, paid too much for what we've gotten. Granted, our room was spacious, but very basic and the bed and furniture seemed quite old. Our room (107) was somewhere on the upperdeck of the hotel, with no trees to provide any shade or next to the pool (see added photos). The room gets very hot during the day, the air conditioning had difficulties to keep up. Right next to our room there is some sort of ventilation system (see added photos), which is quite noisy. When in your room, it's like you hear a washing machine running. It is not a bad hotel, however the hotel did not meet our expectation (based on their photos) and is too expensive for what we got during our stay. It's just average.
- friendly staff; - basic but fairly hygienic; - nice breakfast with a great variety - nice buffet dinner with a great variety (if applicable) - private beach - nice swimming pool area

HungaryAlthough it is acceptable, but breakfast time is strict. They put away all breakfast stuff at 10.00 exactly, so even drinking water is a hassle. The breakfast pack – when you leave early – is only a dry bread with some tasteless chease... The bathroom is a little bit used. The walls of the rooms are quite thin, so you can hear everything from the neighbours. The view from our room was on the corridor. The door is locked with a normal key, but the rooms electricity is switching from a card whic has to be fitted in a slot on the wall. If you want to open the door in the middle of the night you switch of all the electricity in the room, which makes you to find the keyhole hard...
Really nice hotel with great location. Beach on one end, the ruins on the other. Superb breakfast. Little shop and ala carte restaurant, sandy beach with cots and shades. Old town is in walking distance. Ideal for families with kids. Literraly you step on the beach from the hotel.

Czech RepublicI was in Leda Beach Hotel with my wife for the third time. We appreciate above all its situation in the middle of the antique ruins. Even inside the complex you hit into fragments of old columns and other relics of the past. This doesn't lessen the joy of a well maintained beach just in front of the Hotel. Bottom is sandy and enough shallow even for not-the-best swimmers. And the loungers and umbrellas are free of charge! If the waves are too big, you can swimm in the pool in the upper part of the complex. The half board is worth the price - typical turkish cuisine in good choice. From the terrace you can observe the monumental antic theater as well as the complex of the antic city. Beautiful!

location was good, the food in downstairs restaurant by the beach was good. room was small but nice. while I had issues with things at this hotel… it was a nice and quiet stay. my wife enjoyed the beach and the nearby attractions. everything was within a very short walk from hotel

RussiaThis is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. out of the 7 days I booked, I was only able to stay there 3. Mold in the shower, the smell of sewage, all this you will find in this hotel. On the first day at dinner, there was rotten chicken, with a clear smell. each step is an additional fee. I do not recommend staying at this hotel under any circumstances.

United KingdomLots.of.stairs so not suitable for people with more severe mobility challenges. Rooms do not have kettles, (but do have fridges) but as it was very warm this was not really a big negative.
The location is fabulous. Beach at one end, loads of stairs in a shortish walk to the ancient Roman ruins of Side at the other end. Truly spectacular. The friendliness, service, and helpfulness (and sense of fun) from the staff is brilliant, though if you want "formal" service look elsewhere. It is a fairly basic hotel, but the value for money is excellent. We are looking forward to staying here again, as the peculiar charm of the Leda Beach really got to us.

RomaniaExcellent location - this hotel is practically on the beach, also close to many shops and restaurants and the ancient city of Side. The buffet breakfast was diverse and generous, we served it on the terrace with a view to the ruins of the Roman amphiteatre. You can swim both in the sea (sandy beach, free sun-beds) or in the proprety's pool, lunch and dinner can be served on location, as they have 2 restaurants, one by the beach, one by the pool. Many of the rooms have recently been refurbished, we booked this proprety for its looks, but found more than that - friendly and helpful staff, safe, great location and excellent food.

SwitzerlandIt took 45 minutes from arrival to access my room. Nobody was at the desk, everyone (staff members) was having dinner at the same time. I had to go and get them in the restaurant after waiting alone at the reception 20 minutes. Very dirty hotel room and uncomfortable bed, synthetic low quality pillows. Air conditioning not working correctly, impossible to have fresh air. Coffee is instant coffee in restaurant.
Staff members were friendly. Location of the hotel is ideal.
